Cheesesteak Whizard Eastlake

I tried this place for the first time today for lunch and the only complaint I did have was the steak meat wasn’t seasoned. If they put a little season on it definitely 5 stars! The bread was fresh and sub itself overall was good if it had a little season definitely 5 stars !

This place is amazing! From out of town and travel here for work. Born in Philly and I will say this is as good if not better than anything I’ve had there. Insanely good. Owner is very cool and very friendly. Food is so so good, and the atmosphere is great. Food is amazing if I didn’t say that already. You gotta try it

Got 3 chesse steaks just white american chesse. Got home had onions on it an virtually no chesse. Called guy was dismissive to me an said there might have been some onion that was left on the grill. Place ise to be good now this an sandwiches are smaller. An not nearly as good as they use to be. Plus guy who was there was very dismissive of me an didnt offer to make another or anything. 07/30/25

Stopped because of strange name and signage. Great, fresh, large subs in a super clean, colorful atmosphere. We were waited on by Mike, a founder who is on a wild poster in there. He was a somber dude but polite and meticulous. Great place. Mayfield location is takeout only.

Best Sandwitch Shop in Cleveland!!!

We ordered subs fries and fried pickles. Omega sub and chicken Bacon ranch. Both fresh hot and the buns were very good bread

The Alpha is delicious. Split the full with a friend. Plenty.

It’s ok to eat here but I do not recommend doing any fundraisers with this company. We did a dine and donate and the first issue is the contract stated all orders as long as they mentioned our name but when an online order came in for pick up they were told it wouldn’t count. Once we explained the flier didn’t say that they ended up awarding it for just that one person. After that we called and went up to the store numerous times to pick up the check and the manager kept dodging us. It’s took almost 3 months to finally get it and when we went in he pretended to know remember doing it or who we were. Save yourself the headache you don’t waste your time. Support other local business that actually care.

For years, I have heard great things about Cheesesteak Whizard in Eastlake, so I finally decided to give it a try. I was impressed by a very small but clean dining room. It is very serviceable. Service was very prompt. I ordered the Whizard Cheesesteak Sandwich, and I have to say I really enjoyed it.
