Born and raised in Cleveland but live in Nashville now. I thought it would be interesting to try the "Nashville Hot Chicken". For those of you that don't know, when Nashville Hot Chicken is breaded before it is fried, the spices are mixed in with the flour so it gets spicy and there is no need for any kind of sauce on the chicken- the spice is fried into the chicken. In fact, if you order proper Nashville Hot Chicken in Nashville - there is no sauce, they don't have sauces, they don't put any sauce on the chicken. What I received at Trader Jacks was a Plain fried chicken patty with a dollop of hot sauce on it. I knew it was a Plain patty because I purposely ate a few bites that did not have the dollop of sauce on it and it contained no spice. The sauce was spicy, which is great but it's not Nashville Hot Chicken. This menu item needs to be either renamed to a "spicy chicken sandwich" or removed from the menu. It is being misrepresented - much like the owners sales tax fraud on Ohio sales tax holiday.

First time being here, I went for lunch with my boss and a peer.
