Only open till 3pm. This is a place that is gearing down to be sold. Hours have been cut as has the menu. I went in for hotdogs, only on Wednesday. The food was ok, hot and frankly a little expensive for what I got.

So, it's hard for me to give five stars for food, but I'm gonna do it here. I had medium expectations--a local sandwich shop can be hit or miss--but this was really good.
Had the tenderloin. It was on a grilled VERY soft bun. Fries were a little overdone, which was perfect. The ladies who work here are excellent, with quick service. If I'm ever in town again, I will definitely return!

Great little Mah and Pah shop. Great deli with some hard to find cheeses and meats. The ice cream always good and the home made sloppy Joe's the tits. Love it.
Update: Just made it back to American Grub, and wow—still hitting all the right notes! Tried the Waldo bologna sandwich and honestly… it’s better than the original from Waldo. No joke. They’ve updated their menu too—tons of new options and everything looks killer. This place keeps getting better every time. Still that awesome Mah and Pah vibe with serious flavor. Definitely worth the stop!

Monica and Clancy are amazing and they make all of their food with love. They use locally sourced everything and they treat their customers like family. We need more American Grub in our lives.

This spot has an awesome menu made with localy sourced foods. My wife and I had the steakburger with bacon, spicy sloppy cheeseburger, fries and jalapeno cheese bites. The steakburger was cooked perfectly with an awesome flavor I've never tasted before. The spicy sloppy cheeseburger was new to me and so delicious with just spicy ingredients that weren't too hot to be obnoxious, just a great flavor for spicy food lovers. The buns are so good without being overly heavy too! We even took a couple cold italian subs home and those were perfect in the air fryer for a few minutes. I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant to anyone! There are parking spots right in front and the lot on the west side of the building is theirs as well as a heads up! The owners were so nice and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!
