Stopped in for the first time today! Got a sample of almost everything and went home with the Winter rye and can’t wait to make some craft cocktails with it! But also good straight.
Visiting Ernest Scarano's as part of the NEO Distillery Passport was such a wonderful experience. I'm in my mid 50's but didn't start drinking whiskey until my 50th birthday... just didn't like it. (Tequila is my go to) If I'd had access to Ernest Scarano's whiskey as a younger person, I may have dived in earlier. The Old Homocide lived up to it's description. I expected a 140 proof whiskey to be undrinkable, but it was so smooth and buttery....
