Painfully disappointing experience. Dave’s Cosmic Subs has always been one of my favorite restaurants. The closest one being about an hour away from me. Finally decided to make the drive as I’ve been craving a meatball sub from here for days. Service sucked, and my sub came out ice cold. I’m not one to write reviews or complain honestly ever but I’m just so upset by this experience.

Was a special birthday treat. Called and was told it would be refunded. Called again because still wasn’t refunded and the “manager” who offered me the refund hung up on me. Terrible thing to do to someone.

Def won’t be back! Ordered two large subs and was charged over $20 for each sub yet the screen says a large is $17.99. When I asked about the price and showed the worker their tv says $17.99, I was met with “well I’ve worked here for 2 years and i don’t know why our sign says a different price”. Not sure how you advertise one price but charge another.

Hi I was in today 10/27/25 little before noon. Was the best I have had from any sub place! I had a girl named Monique who made my sandwich 10/10 recommend her she was so kind and pleasant. 😊 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ will come here again

I walk in and say hi . Nobody else but me and the worker / owner doesn't have the courtesy to ask what I want or ask for my order. Instead it turns into a staring contest. Terrible manners. Very rude. Over priced. Don't cut sandwiches in half anymore. Hard to eat . Charge extra for a single tiny side of Dave's cosmic sauce that used to be free.. never again

I am very disappointed by my experience here. I came in with my family and you can very clearly see on the receipt that I asked for no black olives and black olives were I put on that I had to pick out. I also never asked for this to be a wrap. Based on the website, I assumed this was a sandwich so that didn’t think I had to say I wanted this as a sub. Also it’s a natural thing for people to say if they want to dine in or take it to go, so my brother said it was to go. Monique was very rude about this and basically said “I’m about to close so you can’t dine in anyways.” To be fair, the chairs were up, but I don’t think many places start putting things up close to an hour before closing. Online it says the place closes at 8:00pm and you can see on the receipt we ordered at 7:12pm. I can understand if it was closer to close, but this was a little less than an hour out. I’m very disappointed.
Edit: I started reading some of the other reviews and this seems like it is not just a one off issue. There are a few other reviews mentioning rude staff and poor / incorrect food. Service like this is what kills businesses.

It’s partly my fault for visiting this location AGAIN with the hopes they improved. The bread was stale, little to none cosmic sauce, and there were 2 banana pepper rings on the sandwhich and one of which was the top of the pepper so it wasn’t even edible.

I love Dave's Cosmic Subs but..... today was the first time I have been in there in a couple months and the first time ordering Dave's Classic Reuben. The sandwich is great except they don't offer the Sauerkraut on it anymore (disappointing but ...fine.) My issue is I had an old menu so was expecting to pay $9.99 but it rang up for $15 and some change.... I payed it but I think that is a RIP OFF for one sandwich. So I guess I won't be going back. 😥

I recently had a sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the toppings without getting soggy. The combination of fresh veggies, savory meats, and flavorful condiments made each bite satisfying. The balance of textures and flavors was spot-on, and it was filling without being overwhelming. The FAR OUT (4) is definitely a great option I would recommend when you’re craving something hearty and flavorful!

Food is good but the amount seems to be getting less when they keep rasing the prices and they didn't make the food as it was asked. Two sandwiches and a fry was close to $30 by far not worth it. I'll never be going back.
