I walk in and say hi . Nobody else but me and the worker / owner doesn't have the courtesy to ask what I want or ask for my order. Instead it turns into a staring contest. Terrible manners. Very rude. Over priced. Don't cut sandwiches in half anymore. Hard to eat . Charge extra for a single tiny side of Dave's cosmic sauce that used to be free.. never again

I am very disappointed by my experience here. I came in with my family and you can very clearly see on the receipt that I asked for no black olives and black olives were I put on that I had to pick out. I also never asked for this to be a wrap. Based on the website, I assumed this was a sandwich so that didn’t think I had to say I wanted this as a sub. Also it’s a natural thing for people to say if they want to dine in or take it to go, so my brother said it was to go. Monique was very rude about this and basically said “I’m about to close so you can’t dine in anyways.” To be fair, the chairs were up, but I don’t think many places start putting things up close to an hour before closing. Online it says the place closes at 8:00pm and you can see on the receipt we ordered at 7:12pm. I can understand if it was closer to close, but this was a little less than an hour out. I’m very disappointed.
Edit: I started reading some of the other reviews and this seems like it is not just a one off issue. There are a few other reviews mentioning rude staff and poor / incorrect food. Service like this is what kills businesses.

It’s partly my fault for visiting this location AGAIN with the hopes they improved. The bread was stale, little to none cosmic sauce, and there were 2 banana pepper rings on the sandwhich and one of which was the top of the pepper so it wasn’t even edible.

I love Dave's Cosmic Subs but..... today was the first time I have been in there in a couple months and the first time ordering Dave's Classic Reuben. The sandwich is great except they don't offer the Sauerkraut on it anymore (disappointing but ...fine.) My issue is I had an old menu so was expecting to pay $9.99 but it rang up for $15 and some change.... I payed it but I think that is a RIP OFF for one sandwich. So I guess I won't be going back. 😥

I recently had a sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was perfectly soft yet sturdy enough to hold all the toppings without getting soggy. The combination of fresh veggies, savory meats, and flavorful condiments made each bite satisfying. The balance of textures and flavors was spot-on, and it was filling without being overwhelming. The FAR OUT (4) is definitely a great option I would recommend when you’re craving something hearty and flavorful!

Food is good but the amount seems to be getting less when they keep rasing the prices and they didn't make the food as it was asked. Two sandwiches and a fry was close to $30 by far not worth it. I'll never be going back.

Went with a friend and the store looked like no one had stocked anything. The pizza sub we were going to split was swimming in sauce and the bread was unbelievably soggy. There is one person working and several people walked in and everyone had to wait while this person did all the different jobs. Also the far out chicken that we also ordered had a whole whopping 4 hot peppers on the sub when it’s one of the main ingredients on the sub. This restaurant has gone downhill since the new owners took over. What once was an upstanding restaurant is now just a joke.
I found them about a year ago and i bought the pizza sub it was delicious and so I would go there periodically for them , however when I went there a month or so ago and bought one it was not good . Whatever they did to it to make it delicious. They omitted, and it wasn't even cooked. It was still cold when I got it even though it just came out of some kind of oven. I went back today. Ordered the same thing. And it was the same, bland and cold, so apparently the store has changed ownership or they've just decided to stop adding what they were putting on it, but the last two i've got have been terrible and I can't see me going back there again for another one

Staff was very friendly and I was even able to utilize my student discount. Although there Super Dave sandwich I ordered was overwhelming wet and soggy with too much of each condiment all while very much lacking in its quantity of meat as there were only 2 small strips of beef. Although I can confidently say I have had better experiences at other Dave’s locations.

My husband and I have frequented Dave’s Cosmic Subs for years. It’s one of our favorites to order out from, unfortunately though the quality of the food has declined. They have removed many items off of their menu which is disappointing but also I can understand this as I’m sure costs have gotten higher and it makes it harder to have a wide variety of choices. We could have dealt with just that. However, the sandwiches are no longer the same. Our sandwiches we ordered today were less than mediocre. The subs barely had anything in them where Dave’s subs used to be stuffed. The bread did not seem toasted. And we ordered a sandwich online that has coleslaw on it and instead of a quick courtesy call, they just delivered it to us with no comment. It wasn’t until we got home that we found on the sub wrapper it had written on it “San Fran - Out of Coleslaw”. We would have chosen another sub as there wasn’t much of anything left on the sub. Just very disappointed in the direction this location specifically has taken. We both agreed that it has lost its draw and will not be ordering from there in the future. Such a bummer as it used to be one of the best!!

pricey. its only 6” and $10-12. in CA can get an ikes which is a footlong for same price and fresher and tastier. the meat - what there was of it - was savory but it was drowned in sauce and the bread roll was stale (even tho toasted, it still tasted stale). wanted to like but wont be back. no value for my $
