I see, I remember this establishment from 2023 it was in the late summer. I went in to go and see about getting a cheese and steak sandwich. The only thing I ever buy from Mr. Heroes, and I'm there a particular, you know? I always look around before I go in and everything else. I did get what I wanted, but I was treated ever since i've moved to this community a few years ago called elyria i have truly not been happy and I intend to get the hell away from here as soon as possible. I got caught up in a bait and switch when I moved here or else I wouldn't have moved here. It wasn't my dream. There was a reason I had to, but that reason is done now. And I'm trying to move on. People have a tendency of being pretending that they're not prejudiced, pretending they're not racist, but you know, when it's there. We have all these commercials showing in a racial couples, and everything is beautiful. And life is wonderful and so on. And so forth, but see, one thing I know is that when you erase the past, the present begins to become the future. And the future becomes the past that you didn't know about, because you didn't try and prevent it.And you didn't tell people that didn't know about it.So that it would stop happening. There's a lot of people from that Jimmy crow era that are still walking around. And before that era. you have a lot of southern people of color that walk around act beholden to Caucasian people & act like they're their best friend. these type of people excuse other people for standing up for their rights when they're insulted & create a problem by making others feel that this actually no prejudice racism or discrimination in the world.By doing that, instead of minding their own business. I don't appreciate that either. So i'm different than most of the people that are here.Because, technically, this is considered a southern area. So on and so forth, I wasn't born on the Plantation. I'm a northern girl from very high up northernwise. when I went the day that I did, there was a Caucasian woman older behind the counter, and it's just the way she treated me. You know you you know? When someone I'm a dear friend race, they really don't want weight on you. It's not about their having a bad day. Or what have you it? Just the fact of like, I'm better than this. Why have I got to do anything for you? And you know, I tried to be polite. I got my sandwich and you know what there was somebody about. Maybe two blocks on my way home, and they were homeless, I gave it to them because I didn't trust eating it. now I'm a very Blunt person. I just say how I feel. I don't see why I should lie about how I feel to lie about how I'm treated. I'm not gonna do that to make somebody else feel good. Why am I saying something now? Because Google popped up and evidently, I had to go past the place. So therefore, it asked me for the umpteen time.Would I give a review and I decided finally what the heck?I don't care. so no, I'm not a fan of that one. And I don't eat fast food. Is there a rare that I will Dineout? And normally, if I do, I'd like to go someplace released, I can see what they're doing. I just got a very, bad vibe, and you should go with your feeling. so that's all i'm gonna say everybody else has to make their own decision.I'm sure people are saying it's a great wonderful awesome place!! that's not my opinion and I don't patronize that place since that day. That was my first last. And only decision to go in there. I won't do it again :)

I ordered 2 Medium Sicilian subs. I asked for extra butter sauce and Parmesan. Those sandwiches were so dry I had drink tea while eating and they had no flavor. They were horrible. It an hour and half to get them through Uber Eats. I won’t be ordering from this location anymore 🙁

I work in Lorain. Had to go to another location because my work had to close due to ac died during heat wave. Got lunch on the way. Google maps showed a Mr hero. First red flag the menu was off. All tv screens were dead. There was some construction dudes waiting for food so I figured they worked in the area and come here a lot. Should have checked bag before I left. Absolute slop. I threw it away. $8.50 for a gross burger which for some reason was just a patty and mayo? My drink ended up being straight syrup. Disgusting!

I called in to let the store know I was ordering with DD (DoorDash). That I wanted my Roman burger made a certain way and it didn’t allow me to edit it in the app. The man who answered Hetl (the manager) ensured that it will be made correctly. When I say I spoke with him three times? He was polite each time and the third time was simply to thank him!! My sandwich was GREAT! Everything was great but my sandwich especially. THANK YOU 🙏🏼

I just watch this lady run around touching everything including the freezer door handle(at least 4 times i seen and heard her open the freezer door) with greasy gloves for 20 min making at least 3 orders. I even asked when she changed them last, which with a attitude tells me the owner won't let them change them before every other order. She says I have only been working on yours. If it takes you 30 min to make 4 sandwhichs( which i seen her make way more than that in the 30 min I had been waiting on my order) then something isn't mathing. The other kid says we'll just goes to show what you know cause I just washed mine, I replied with, you do know it takes at least 20 seconds for soap contact to properly clean your hands right and you weren't even back there that long. Just gross....

The food was fresh and delicious. The service wasn't that great. You could tell the staff was miserable being there and there was a mishap on a charge of our order. I wouldn't eat inside.

They do a great job here of meat, meet, and more meat. You can get the same sandwich all the time. Which sounds simple but lots of quote unquote fast food places still haven't gotten that right yet. If you're a carnivore this is your kind of place. Sides are sort of sketchy they're not many, most of them consist of pride offerings. It does appear that they're trying to diversify their menu but I admit I have not tried all those offerings yet.
