Stopped in for the Smitty burger. We were traveling, spent the night in Elyria and wanted to eat at a local place instead of a chain. The burgers were simply ok. Nothing I would really recommend to other travelers, or if I lived here would make a point of coming here just for a Smitty burger. Not sure what the special Smitty sauce was, but there was way too much of it and all we thought was that it was mayonnaise. We did have to agree with the other reviews to clean the gross...
I really like a place with good fries and theirs are stellar. The fish was great and the onion rings cooked just right.
The Cole slaw was good just a little creamier than I like. No stars taken away because that is my personal preference. It was still good.

One of my favorites is the Smitty burger, which is a copy of the manners, big boy. There are also a lot of other items on the menu that I like so I’ve given this a very high rating.
