We just ordered ice cream but the wait was long as there was only one girl taking orders and making the ice cream. The ice cream itself was gone until my husband found a long hair in the brownie portion of his ice cream. It's always very warm inside this location so we chose to eat outside.

Not sure if management knows their employees stop serving customers before closing. Ice cream machines are always down, per the employee. Some of the employee there are very nice but not all!!!

Been through the drive through a few times in the last few weeks. Each time they were not serving ice cream. When I decided to go ahead and order food I waited in the drive through for 20 minutes. Will take my business to Vandalia instead as they prioritize their customers and actually serve ice cream at a Dairy Queen.

Went to Dairy Queen in Englewood was told the ice cream was melting went to Dairy Queen in Vandalia service was slow and did not have lids for the ice cream hadn't been to a Dairy Queen in years now I know why

Went thru the drive thru to purchase a single, medium,turtle blizzard with whip cream. Arrived at the window and the gal tried to hand it to me without the whip cream. I mentioned it, she slammed the window door and disappeared. Came back a couple minutes later with whip cream. I paid and she slammed the window again when I pulled off. She never spoke a single word, didn't supply a receipt and when I got home the blizzard was missing the chocolate chunks. Perhaps you should consider hiring people who like their jobs and can handle working with customers.

Not sure what an ice cream break is but this location has been having these frequently. I saw 10 cars leave today including me due to this. I agree with the comment below about the parking lot.

Went through the drive thru to order some blizzards and was only told “We’re on an ice cream break, come back in 15-20 min”. Tried to find franchise owner contact info to make a complaint and got stuck in an infinite loop on the website. No contact phone number or even email. Went to the community page on Facebook to see if anyone had contact info for owner and was told that to talk to the owner, you have to visit and speak with him in person during daytime hours. I work during daytime hours and cannot visit in person. Also found out that what they said was supposed to mean the machine was in refreeze. If that’s the case, SAY THAT and apologize for the inconvenience. It’s that simple. Customer service a proper communication go hand in hand. You don’t just turn people away saying you’re on a break.

The past 2 times I’ve been at this location they prioritize DoorDash over customers waiting in line. I understand DoorDash needs to get to their deliveries but standing in line for 20 minutes with no greeting while you’re only greeting DoorDash is a bit much. There should be a better process.
