Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Well I decided to try out Lees chicken for the first time, it sounded good. Went in ordered my food, lady at the counter was expressionless but friendly enough. Tenders were fresh and hot, and crispy, biscuit was butter and good, wedges were meh, but overall pleasant experience.

I was working on a project nearby, and finished, and decided to stop back on my way out for a quick refill of my soda not an hour later.

The old dude with the ponytail gave me this nasty inquisitive look as I was walking in getting a refill and asked me in that bitchy tone “can I help you?”

I explained I was just in and had my chicken tenders, ice still in the cup, and was stopping for a quick refill.

He then cut me off and said “there are no refills once that cup goes out the door”

I was like oh…okay and walked out with my half cup of soda.

So moral of the story is, I was probably going to stop back in more since the food was good, but because of that attitude, congratulations; you saved $0.20 of bib syrup and lost a future repeat customer.

Honestly, if he would have been friendly, I would understand; it’s store policy…but he made me feel like a delinquent…so yeah back to Popeyes and chick fil a 🤙🏼

We got a party pack for a get together with friends and this store did a phenomenal job. Came with plenty of food and everything else you would need. The food was fresh and tasted great! Lees has the best chicken strips in town.

Asked for fresh livers, received. TY. Got a large order of chicken. Was Not good. I waited while the livers were fried, but received OLD, dried out ineatable chicken.

We had issues Ordering Fresh food. Was willing to Wait for fresh food. Half of order was ok. The chicken, however was Not. $80 order. Everyone was SO disappointed 😞.

I went to Lee's last night and bought a 12pcs family meal it was horrible the biscuits were literally hard as rocks the chicken was old and dried out this is one of the worst experiences I've had

This location has drastically declined in its food quality and preparation. I normally order a 3 or 5 piece strip meal, with 2 sides. Seems no matter what quantity I pick, there is hardly any meat, always a bunch of breading or gristle off the meat. No chicken strip! And when there is a strip, it's always soggy or undercooked and hardly edible.
Also when ordering a gallon of sweet tea, it's always hot! No matter the time of visit. My advice, never visit for any kind of chicken strip meal cause all you'll get is a lot of soggy breading. Don't order sweet tea unless you like it hot.

Went for the new spicy wings. Nasty as ever big af looked like they were on triple steroids . Wayyy too much breading. Never seen a chicken wing so big. Just Nasty period. I wouldn't recommend.

The week before we came in for a 16 box strip chicken meal. Chicken was hard and small straps, over cooked. more like bites. $51.00.Biscuits were hard. I called mgr his name was john. Took my name. John said I will replace only what you haven't ate. I drop the chicken and Biscuits in a zip lock bag put in my freezer. I came back in a week. Still had to buy $16 worth of sides. I will post after we try the replacement food.
