Its not your usual chili . Folks either love skyline chili or not. We love it. We are from Missouri. Sadly no skylines there. So, Skyline is our regular food stop whenever we go visit our ohio family. This location seems a bit nicer than others we've done. Always friendly, clean, fast and yummy. We love it 4 way. Starts w spaghetti then chili, onions, and topped with a mountain of cheese. 5way would add beans. Hubby gets the spicy cheese. My vegetarian son also loves...
I worked at the Clifton Skyline from 1967-1976. We used to take great care to wrap cheese cones for takeout. Mine on this visit were thrown into a standard Styrofoam box and thrust out the drive through window. The flavor was as expected, but I longed for the good old days of cardboard boxes and lightly waxed paper to keep the coneys fresher.
The food was good and was at a great price and the coney’s were good and my friends thought they were good they had a good deal like Spicy Nachos and Jalapeño Way options, as well as a special on their 3-, 4-, or 5-Way dishes. They gave me a whole bag of oyster crackers when i left and i got a popsicle and the People are always nice when i go there
