Been coming here for years and love the food. They have always been willing to add extra vegetables to my sweet sour chicken and serve the sauce on the side. Mmmm love it :)

Very generous and fresh lunch special portions. I love the drive through pick up window too. Their food stands out over most Dayton area spots.

Always so good. When my parents come into town this is what we order. The hot and sour soup is the best and the quality of everything shows.

Amazing! I have never had Chinese food that is so good. The Yen Ching House has so many delicious options crabrangoons, potstickers, egg rolls, wonton soup and much more. Perfect for drive thru , carry out or dine in for a date or family dinner.

My daughter loves this place. Good food, good prices, good service. I recommend this restaurant if you're in the mood for Chinese.

Best Chinese restaurant in the Dayton area. They have numerous offerings and offer dine-in, drive-thru, carryout, & delivery. The restaurant is clean and the food is very good. Some of our favorite menu items are the Sweet & Sour Chicken, fried rice, Wonton Soup, Crab rangoon, and egg/spring rolls. Servers are always attentive & friendly.

Ordered chicken low mien. Food had large portion and tasted better. They a good share of other veggies, mushrooms and peas on it which I loved. But the service was not pleasing, there was only one cashier handling phone order, pick up, drive thru and the entire register. Had to wait 8+ minutes just to receive my pick-up which was already right there.

This review was based on our experience yesterday and the food we ordered. This place is always busy during lunch and dinner time! We decided to check it out. The inside feels like an old school Chinese restaurant. My kids loved the egg drop soup. My husband and I ordered 4 dishes to try. We got house fried rice, birds nest, kung pao chicken and walnut shrimp. We also added $3 to get an egg roll, crab Rangoon and hot and sour soup. The hot and sour soup was full of flavor with a hint of spice. Crab Rangoon didn't have much in it and I think Panda Express makes better ones. Now the eggrolls, have you been inside an Asian market and it has a distinct Asian smell? Well, that's what the egg rolls tasted like. We spilt one eggroll and left the other 2. House fried rice I give it a 7/10, we added soy sauce and chili oil on it and it tasted better. Kung pao chicken 7/10 mediocre taste. Walnut shrimp is usually my husbands favorite! But not here! Their "walnut shrimp" was more like sweet and sour shrimp with walnuts on it. It was horrible. I had to confirm with our waitress if this was walnut shrimp. We've had walnut shrimp at many Chinese restaurants all over the US and it's always made the same with a creamy white sweet sauce. We each ate a shrimp and left it. This birds nest was the worst of all, I'd give this a 0. It was so bland. It's like they cooked it with low sodium chicken broth and added corn starch slurry to thicken it up and that's it. Im shocked this place has 4.5 stars. I guess everyone that eats here has no taste buds or likes bland food. Definitely not coming back. I'd make a further drive for real and more flavorful Chinese food.

Who ever rated this restaurant a 4.5 must never had chinese food during the 90's early 2000's , quality all over the U.S had gone down tremendously, my order literally looked like it was cooked prior ordering and microwaved when ordered, everything soggy wings and all .
