Maybe I don't get it. I counted at least 6 empty tables and we told a 30 minute wait. We're welcome to sit at the bar but no room at the bar. When I asked what was the delay, they said they were short on the kitchen. We had just driven over 400 miles from Charlotte to visit friends. All we wanted to do initially was have a drink and talk.
Update: When we did get a table our waitress, Juli, was an absolute dream. Apologized for the wait. Was attentive, talkative, helpful, funny. Took our orders, made great suggestions.
The food and drinks came out quickly,exactly as ordered and was worth the price.
All that made the one star up to 4. Juli made the whole night.
First time, great place! I'm not a seafood lover but if you are, then this is a definite go-to!

A group of us sat back in the boathouse, there was a guy playing live music that was really good, pleasant to listen to, the good was great, nice cold beer and the server was very on top of things, never ran out of anything to drink. We will certainly be back!

39yr anniversary...hadn't been there in awhile. Food has always been good...mrkt price foods but worth it. Special occasion meals...or if you just don't care.Dining room,tiki bar, or outdoors

Nothing like going to the Dock Food & Spirit in Enon, Ohio. We arrived at 8:35 PM and was told by the hostess in a blunt manner that they close in 10 minutes. Keep in mind their posted hours say they are open until 9:00. I asked if we could order dinner and was told no. By the looks of the parking lot - nobody there - other people have been told “no” or locals know better to go there in the first place.
We drove 1.4 miles down the road and were immediately greeted with an enthusiastic server and excellent food.
Two thumbs up for Taylor’s Tavern and odios to the Dock of Enon.
Perhaps hiring a staff that actually gives a crap about the Dock would be a great first step

Our 1st ever visit. Was seated right away. Service was great to start. Food was average. Would have preferred more grilled options rather than everything battered and breaded. Waited a long time for server to check back about refills or if everything was ok.

Still one of the really good hidden gems around. Ambiance galore, music with a wonderful guitar playing gentleman, & the food! LOVE the Oysters on the half shell were so good! Seafood Portabello dish & the rib eye steak were very good also. We had a wonderful, engaging server named Sydney! You feel like you're in Key West! So relaxing!
Vegetarian options: Seafood Portabello is wonderful!

This was our first visit to this restaurant and our server asked what dish we would like without even asking what our drink would be. Then she came back 5 minutes later to take our drink orders. When we ordered food, she only asked, "What side dishes would you like?" and "What kind of dressing would you like?" We hadn't decided yet(we didn't know we have side and salad) so we wanted her to tell us what was available. because If you told us that's easy way to answer. That's your job, isn't it?Our 3 year old daughter was there too and we told her our daughter will eat our food. Then she never bring small plate for us. She never smiled, not friendly, no kind. If you don't provide proper service, NO TIPShe didn't say anything when we left lolShe was tall, dark hair ( She's undermining the value of the restaurant)June,8,2024
