I love love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The service is awesome. I took my husband, who only likes steaks, which he got, and even that was amazing. Seriously go you will be in seafood heaven and enjoy yourself.

If you enjoy casual hole in the walls or hidden gems, this is worth checking out. The “boat house”, as they called it is super cute and unique. Definitely recommend dining in there if you’re able to. It felt like a casual seafood eatery in Florida. And they had crab legs which is a win in our books! Food seemed a bit over priced but it was good and service was great! Very friendly server and my pina colada was perfect.

Unbelievable place. I was beyond thrilled with the service and moreover the quality of the food. As a native New Yorker, this place tops the charts in Central Ohio for me. I just don’t find places like this in Ohio. I can’t wait to come back.

Went in on Valentine’s Day to have dinner. Immediately when you walk in the front door there is a horrible odor. Can’t even describe it other than my wife and I felt like we were going to throw up. We left and went somewhere else because the smell was so bad. This used to be a nice little place to have a nice meal with a unique atmosphere. I believe new owners bought it several years back and it has quickly gone down hill. It is dirty inside, trash and old furniture stacked in a room right when you walk in. The food quality has consistently became worse over the last few years. For these reasons we will never go here again and I would not recommend anyone to eat here anymore. It’s a shame because my wife and I have enjoyed the food the service and the atmosphere of the Dock for many years. I used to recommend the Dock to everyone, that will not happen again. The new owners did not keep up the tradition of the old Dock owner. Believe me when I say, just the smell and the dirtiness are enough to keep you from enjoying the restaurant. You will probably walk right back out from the smell alone. Sorry Dock but this loyal couple will never ever return to your restaurant again. All the long time employees have left since the new owner and the new ones just don’t seem to care. An Enon Ohio Icon has sadly been destroyed by the new owners. If you’re in Enon Ohio I would keep driving because you will not enjoy a thing about the Dock anymore. Time to clean house literally and start over Dock owners. You have failed the reputation and history of the Dock that we all used to know.

Update: Due to life and a pandemic we had a somewhat long lapse but Wed 2/11 we restarted our Valentine's Day tradition at the Dock and we were glad we did! Juli was our server and took great care of us for starters and MARYLAND STYLE CRABCAKES ARE BACK ON THE MENU! These are my wife's favorite and they did not disappoint. We had a dinner of appentizers which was more than enough food (clam strips, clam chowder, Lobster bisque, the seafood tortilla pizza which a winner and I couldn't resist so I had the lobster roll which had so much meat I ate most if it with a fork. We had a great time and we will be back much sooner that the last time. My wife and I recommend it to all our friends and its worth the drive up to Enon.
Our first trip to the Dock on Valentine's Day will not be our last. The menu and food were outstanding. Friendly serving staff, great atmosphere. Best crab cakes in Dayton by a country mile. Huge menu - we will be back for sure. Looking forward to eating here in the Summer so we can sit outside. Everything was perfect. We are officially fans!

It was a really great dinner! Food was delicious and our server was great and friendly! the only downside is when we immediately walked it, it smelled so bad, like throw up! the bathroom absolutely smelled like it too, but besides that no complaints! maybe some febreeze or something 😆
Had a wonderful experience. The seafood portabella mushroom plate was one of the best things I have had in a restaurant in a while. Service was great.

I ordered pick up and they got the order wrong. I did not realize this till I was home. I did not realize they had also undercharged me only charging for what I got. I called to make it right and drove back for missing scallops. Rather than charge the difference between what I paid and the scallop dinner I ordered missing the scallops the wanted the price for scallops ala carte. I refused them. If they had gotten the order right I would have gladly paid the full price. I could have enjoyed my meal uninterrupted without a wasted second trip back to the restaurant for nothing

First time and last time. Restaurant looks run down. Bathroom smells door held together by bolts. Food very greasy. Not good quality. Someone brought their daughter to work who was running around the restaurant and kept opening the door in the boathouse that was freezing already. Very disappointed
