Let me tell you something. The date is 8-16-25
I have lived in the state of Ohio for 4 years now and I have not found one single restaurant I have fallen in love with until today. To give context - I have been all over the U.S and consider myself extremely cultured in food. I have at some of the best Italian restaurants in America and today blew me away. I ordered the stuffed Onion and not only was that the best meal I have ever had at a restaurant in Ohio that stuffed onion is in my top 5 favorite meals I have ever had a restaurant in general. It was so fun and so nice to finally have a meal that makes you smile ear to ear. That was the rush I have searched for a very long time. It's been years since I have had joy like that because of food. Will definitely be coming back. Hats off to the owner and the staff. Place was clean. It was definitely alive and fun for everyone. Staff was attentive and excellent to talk to. It was a bit of wait for food but I would wait 3 hours if I had to. That's how good the stuffed onion was. I truly do not know what else to say. Im now home and still can't stop telling everyone about it. I am one of the most critical foodies you could imagine. Nothing satisfies me and today I was finally blessed. Beyond outstanding. Order the stuffed onion. You will not regret it. Thank you all so much for an excellent evening

What used to be the place to go has become a place I would never visit again. Addressing the service first. This seems like the people they currently have seem to have a lot of trouble juggling just a few tables. The wait times for some of the simplest things are a bit excessive. Onward to the food. One leg is a tout about quite a bit is there Alfredo sauce being homemade. I have to say it was one of the worst things I've ever eaten. Absolutely zero flavor. I am not one for ever sending something back but on this one it was just garbage. With having a premium charge of about $18 I would say that something's definitely in left feild. Chicken parmesan was the second dish. I cannot shake the feeling that the chicken that was used in this was frozen. It always has a certain taste and with the place Bragg's about its freshness I would definitely throw up an argument in that regards. As much as I would love to settle for being simply underwhelming I can't. This was one of the worst dining experiences that I've had in recent years. If you go unexpecting to have an authentic or even satisfying Italian experience I would strongly advise opening a can of ragu over going here.

The food was delicious. The wait staff was very attentive and kind. The only issue was a staff shortage so our food took longer than normal to arrive. I'd definitely go back.

We love it here! My daughter and I go almost every Sunday after church. The employees are so nice and the food is delicious. They had their air conditioning break right in the middle of summer, but stayed open and served what they could. They worked really hard to keep the customers comfortable and happy. I had out of town family come and we took them here and they loved it. I highly recommend Giovanni’s!

What a shame! Used to be our favorite place to eat. Prices have doubled. Specifically the stuffed Vidalia onions. Quality didn't improve. We asked for fresh bread, and we got 4 pieces...? Bad bad bad SO SAD. Food service took forever. Our salad came out b4 our drinks, but that wasn't because the salads were quick...I don't know if we'll be back. It's going to be tough finding a new favorite. And where will we celebrate all our birthdays and special occasions? I no longer recommend. 😞 They broke my spirit.

Stopped in from out of town to meet old friends.
Great authentic Italian restaurant, a comfortable atmosphere, and really terrific food.
Will make it a point to stop by for lunch the next time I pass through town.

I love this place. Two of my favorite things are starters, the Stuffed Vidalia Onion and Antipasto Plate. All their entrees are delicious and I love their sandwiches at lunch.

I’ve been enjoying Giovanni’s since high school. We celebrate life’s milestones here. The staff is amazing and friendly. The food is top notch - their house salad dressing I do buy by the pint.
