I’m writing this to help others make an informed decision before spending their money. My family (two adults and a two-year-old) recently dined inside at Hector’s for the first time, as we’ve always enjoyed their breakfast burritos. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing.
Our food arrived in just five minutes, which made it seem like it was either pre-made or frozen. The cheese on our quesadillas wasn’t fully melted, and the beans and rice in our combo plate were served cold, as if they hadn’t been kept at the proper temperature. On top of that, the service was lacking—no greeting when we arrived or left, and we could overhear staff speaking negatively about previous customers.
For nearly $50, we expected better quality and service. Additionally, this is not a full-service restaurant, as customers are required to clean up after themselves. If you’re looking for great food and good service, I’d recommend trying another spot. I used to love this place, but unfortunately, the quality has gone downhill.
Really sad they removed the omelet from the menu but everything still available is so great

We have been there in the past and had good meals and great service. The girls serving tonight were very kind, but the food was awful!! It was hot and didn’t have any flavor at all. The cheese dip tasted like chemicals. It was so awful we couldn’t eat it. I hope this review helps them realize that they need to do better on the quality and freshness of their food. The young lady who helped us get a refund was very sweet. Her name is Alina and I want to thank her for being so kind. We probably won’t go back here though. It also smelled SO strong of chemicals and cleaning. No smell of food at all.

Food is decent, but this is two times in a row that they have left something off the order that we paid for. When we called back they stated they would not doing anything about the missing food. If you get medium size take out orders, order with caution.

Waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for 3 tacos. I was handed a bag of food with no drink, so I asked for my drink. I was then told I had the wrong order so he took it back. 5 minutes later I had to leave to make it back to work in time. No lunch for me today.
It takes less than 30 seconds to make 3 tacos with a total of 4 ingredients. You’d think they’d make it a priority to make my order after I waited so long (or at least hand me my drink) after they handed me the wrong food, but no. I just drove off as I had to get to work.

Lived in Fairborn for 3 years and just tried out hectors today, chimichanga was delicious. Staff was friendly and the food was fresh and quick.

This is an authentic hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. The food is delicious and reminds me of being home in Southern Arizona. If you like authentic Mexican food, you have to stop by and try Hector's!
First time eating here, but I'd heard a lot of good things about it. The food was good to very good, but what impressed me most was how quickly they got the food out to me, and the large quantity of food given the price I paid for it. Service was excellent too. Thought the complimentary salsa (I had the mild) was a little too runny, but the flavor was good. Had the steak fajita dinner and while it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was very good. I'll definitely try some other menu items next time I stop in.

The only issue I run into often is their 8:00 A.M start time doesn’t always mean they are actually open at 8:00 A.M
But their Breakfast Burritos are super fire ?

Excellent food at excellent prices at this no-frills Mexican restaurant. I particularly like the crispy chicken tacos and their burritos are amazing. Highly recommend to get your Mexican food fix over Taco Bell or Chipotle any day of the week.
