This place was recommended to me by a WPAFB Airman from the Phillipines, he said it was good and reminded him of home. I'm not an expert on Filipino food, but the food here was delicious. Since we don't live fairly close, we over ordered; the portions were amazing and we had leftovers for a couple of more meals. We didn't try the buffet, but ordered off the menu. I recommend you try it and if you are unsure ask for recommendations. You will not be disappointed. And a final point, the lady who came out to take care of us was amazing. My wife and I are seniors and I daresay the lady who took care of us was in our age group. Notice I didn't say serve us, she took care of us and I think that is the highest compliment I could give.

You know this is actual Filipino food like the kind that hits the soul when you see old Tita's making the food in the kitchen. Being filipino, this tastes like home. Prices and portion are great. And nice folks too! You want classic pinoy cuisine, you're in the right place. I always come here every weekend when I'm TDY to area.

Prices are never the same. I feel like they charge you according to whether they like you or not. Menu with Prices would be nice. I understand there is another Philippine Restaurant Opening SOON IN CENTERVILLE, OHIO. I rate the ATMOSPHERE 1 🌟 because there always GOSSIPING ABOUT PEOPLE. I was a regular in the beginning, but, the GOSSIPING is very annoying. I've received expired product several times and pointed it out. These are things that a responsible owner would catch. I'm just 🙊 speechless 🙊. I now eat at home or Lumpia Queen or Columbus and EAGERLY WAITING FOR THE PHILIPPINE 🇵🇭 RESTAURANT TO OPEN UP IN CENTERVILLE, OHIO

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm smile that instantly made us feel at home. Kawali Filipino Cuisine offers a wide variety of classic Filipino dishes, all served hot and fresh—just the way we like it!

My husband and I tried three dishes: sinigang, lechon kawali, and laing. The sinigang had just the right level of sourness, and the meat was fall-apart tender—comfort food at its finest. The lechon kawali was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. What really surprised me was the sauce. I initially thought it was Mang Tomas, but it turned out to be homemade—and honestly, even better! Lastly, the laing was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. We truly enjoyed every bite.

Overall, Kawali Filipino Cuisine is a wonderful place to satisfy your Filipino food cravings. The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and the service is top-notch. We’ll definitely be back to try more!

This family-owned Filipino restaurant is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted like you're part of the family. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with the smell of freshly cooked Filipino dishes filling the air.

We tried the chicken adobo, pancit bihon, and crispy pata — every bite was packed with authentic flavor. The adobo was tender and tangy, the pancit perfectly seasoned, and the Lechon Kawali? Lechon on the outside, juicy on the inside — pure heaven.

What really sets this place apart is the heart they put into everything. You can tell these recipes have been passed down through generations, and each dish feels like a warm hug.

If you're looking for genuine Filipino hospitality and delicious home-cooked meals, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

It might not be much to look at on the outside but the food is delicious. It’s clean and quiet on the inside with a lovely owner. The service is “cafeteria style” meaning you choose from a set of about 9 items made daily and they come with rice. The pork adobo was tasty although not as vinegary as I’m used to. The owner offered me extra broth for my leftovers which was generous and immediately bought my loyalty. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. Only 1-2 vegetarian items, FYI.

Parking: Lots of parking spots although the markings are hard to see as they’ve faded over time.
