Taste of Jerusalem offers delicious food and excellent service. The chicken platter with rice and pickles is a must-try, and the chicken bowl with Tzatziki sauce also receives high praise. Customers have enjoyed the chicken shawarma roll, which is grilled to perfection and features a fantastic tahini with a pop of lemon. The falafel is described as one of the best ever tasted—hot, fresh, and incredibly flavorful. The Arabic salad is light, flavorful, and works as a great palate cleanser.
The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and takes the time to explain the menu to those who are unfamiliar. While the dining space is small, it is clean, spacious for its size, and decorated with beautiful photos of Jerusalem and the Middle East. Free bottled water is provided for dine-in customers. Although there are some minor issues with to-go orders, the friendliness and great customer service make it a go-to spot for flavorful meals. Many customers leave happy and full, eager to return and try something new on the menu.
