Tik Thai Express was my dinner spot on my first night in Wright-Patterson, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I stopped in on a whim while heading to my hotel and was glad I did.
I ordered the crab fried rice with spring rolls and a watermelon aloe vera juice. It was my first time trying crab fried rice at a Thai restaurant, and it was flavorful, fresh, and generously filled with crab. The food was made to order and ready fairly quickly—I took it to go.
Based on the setup, I’d recommend it more for takeout than dine-in, but don’t let that deter you. If I’m back in town for work, I’ll definitely stop by again.

Always amazing. We have have been eating at Tiks since there was one in Bellbrook, and Tiks Thai express is fantastic. We can’t wait for her new location that is a couple doors down from our salon in Yellow Springs!

I ordered the Bourbon Chicken with fried rice. The flavor was ok but I'll be honest, for a couple tiny pieces of dark meat chicken and fried rice with a little sauce in the bottom of the dish...it was no where near worth the $16.99 I was charged! I will not return and will advise others not to frequent this establishment as well. So sad because this was my go to restaurant.

I tried their crab fried rice level 4 spicy and it was super delicious! My hubby wasn't planning on eating much but he ended up eating half my plate too. Will definitely try some of their other dishes if time allows.

Worst pad Thai I have ever had and it was expensive
This place serves delicious, authentic Thai food with a great variety of dishes to choose from. The service was outstanding — the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant itself is very clean and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere both inside and outside. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience that I highly recommend!

Staff friendly, delicious food, I am recommend
So dirty and too expensive for a small portion of foods. Not recommended for Thai food in town
We were greeted by such a sweet lady when we arrived for lunch. The food was fantastic and they were huge portions! 5 star review and we will be back!
I really hate that I am leaving this review, because Tik's is a place I frequent, but I had such a disappointing experience today. Every time I go, no matter the day or time, the portions are hearty, and the dishes are beautiful. They look just like the menu picture. I was excited to bring first-time guests!
We order the Thai Boat, Mama's Tom Yum, and the Kao Soi.
Thai Boat-- hardly had any toppings, very flat and one-dimensional. Still tasted fine.
Kao Soi (zero spice)-- the bowl was so empty, and you could hardly see the broth. The waiter agreed he thought there was more broth woth the dish and brought more out-- still barely got past the bottom of the bowl. Also, the spice was about a 3 and my friend was unable to finish the dish.
Mama's T (zero spice)-- this is my favorite dish from Tik's, so I'm very familiar with it (but not the name lol). I pointed to the picture with the Musles and shrimp, and asked the server the name-- she said the Seafood Soup. I didn't recall that being the name, but trusted her to know-- It was the wrong dish. After going back and forth, I thought it was straightened out. My friend joked that they were going to dump the seafood soup over noodles. Well, it wasn't a joke, because the waiter admitted that is what was done. It tasted nothing like Mama's Tom Yum, the noodles were wrong, the serving bowl was wrong, and there was no appeasement. I was just told that different chef's cook different ways, and other excuses. I wouldn't tell others not to go, because even though the dishes were not what we ordered, they were good and a new guest wouldn't know. However, as a frequent diner, it was very disheartening. Thank you.
