Ordered Mongolian beef with light onions and extra beef. What I got was extra onions and a tiny portion of beef. Also paid a pretty premium for extra beef (almost Double). Flavor was lacking in everything besides the dumplings. Fried rice was basic, lo mein was flavorless, and the Mongolian beef didn't have much flavor. I will say the dumplings were great.
I'll have to pass on this place.

I don't do reviews often, but this place is awesome. We have eaten there multiple times and Doordashed from them a few times recently. Always delicious and a lot of food for the price. The chicken on a stick and Bourbon chicken are really good!

Unfortunately the experience we had, has encouraged me to make this not so lovely review.
I was questioning whether the server wanted us there or not and the food definitely had me questioning my choices in life... it was gross! Slimey fake meat, soggy refrozen and defrosted veggies. And this is what makes me mad....the prices.... when we got the bill it was $10 more than what the menu told us it would be. It said choose your protein with the veggie dish and complementary rice (also unappetizing)...so we paid $17 dollars for a veggie dish in a salty sauce and some fake tasting meat. Seriously. I saw 3 groups of people walk in while we left and I wanted to save them all. I didn't save them....maybe I can save you. Go anywhere else. I hate feeling used and this place didn't care about their customers.

We tried multiple items at Tokyo Tasty Wok in Fairborn: crab rangoon, chicken roll, fried dumplings, chicken pad Thai, and shrimp lo mein with pork. Overall, it was below average.

The fried dumplings were the best part of the meal—crispy and decent. The crab rangoon wasn’t bad, but it was surprisingly sweet, which threw off the balance. The chicken roll was okay, but not memorable in any way. The chicken pad Thai was average; it wasn’t bad, but it lacked flavor depth.

The shrimp lo mein with pork was disappointing. The noodles were cooked well, but the shrimp portion was tiny and lacked flavor, and the pork came in very small bits that didn’t add much to the dish. Overall, the flavors didn’t come together, and it felt like an underwhelming experience. Not something I’d return for or recommend.

This is one of those place you can tell has delicious food because it appears like a hole-in-the-wall type mom & pop diner from the outside! You know the one you usually find on a long stretch of highway in the middle of nowhere? Don't let that fool ya; Inside is cozy, they're quick with your order, and the food is awesome :-)

This placed used to have amazing sushi. It’s now under new ownership. It looks great inside & the guy who was waiting was very friendly, BUT the food wasn’t as good as the old place and it reeked of smoke. We could tell when the kitchen staff was actively smoking bc it was so strong - I was kinda grossed out as to what their kitchen is like if they’re back there smoking.

Came here on a Friday night after reading some mixed reviews, but a lot of people said the sushi was good. Honestly, it was the opposite for us. My wife actually spit her sushi out, and I almost did too. The crab rangoons tasted like they’d been sitting in the freezer forever. We ended up leaving half our food, which we basically never do.

On top of that, our server was coughing and spitting up phlegm so loud the whole restaurant could hear it. Super uncomfortable, and the service/atmosphere just weren’t good. Definitely one of the worst meals we’ve had.

We were regulars for years with the original Tokyo and it was gut wrenching when we went in after “renovations” with the same sign still outside, but different owners. We’ve gone twice this past year since and both times has been disappointing. There is no pride in the product they gave us either time we were there. Just heartbreaking we lost such a quality restaurant.

Spectacular find in Fairborn, these cozy places are one great reason to road trip across the US. The sushi chef Hong is professional and humorous.

I'm giving two stars because there's no way this place deserves 4.6 stars when they gave me old rice. I literally came in to get takeout I mean it's bad enough that they're not cooking the food fresh, meaning they just put the meat in the microwave because there's no way you can prepare this entire thing three meals in 10 minutes. But for you to give me rice that's lukewarm much colder than the actual food and it's hard and dried it tells me the rice is old. A terrible experience for first-time customer I won't return. I spent over $30 here for you to not give me the best service you can give me it's terrible. Various grains in this rice are very hard. People don't just think about going to a restaurant like gee, let me pay money to get old food. This is the type of things that I've noticed traveling internationally United States is supposed to have fresh food when people go to a restaurant and buy it. It probably takes rice a few hours to dry out this much. No way this is 4.6 stars. The lack of effort show they really did not care about what they were giving me.
