Came here on a Friday night after reading some mixed reviews, but a lot of people said the sushi was good. Honestly, it was the opposite for us. My wife actually spit her sushi out, and I almost did too. The crab rangoons tasted like they’d been sitting in the freezer forever. We ended up leaving half our food, which we basically never do.

On top of that, our server was coughing and spitting up phlegm so loud the whole restaurant could hear it. Super uncomfortable, and the service/atmosphere just weren’t good. Definitely one of the worst meals we’ve had.

We were regulars for years with the original Tokyo and it was gut wrenching when we went in after “renovations” with the same sign still outside, but different owners. We’ve gone twice this past year since and both times has been disappointing. There is no pride in the product they gave us either time we were there. Just heartbreaking we lost such a quality restaurant.

Spectacular find in Fairborn, these cozy places are one great reason to road trip across the US. The sushi chef Hong is professional and humorous.

I'm giving two stars because there's no way this place deserves 4.6 stars when they gave me old rice. I literally came in to get takeout I mean it's bad enough that they're not cooking the food fresh, meaning they just put the meat in the microwave because there's no way you can prepare this entire thing three meals in 10 minutes. But for you to give me rice that's lukewarm much colder than the actual food and it's hard and dried it tells me the rice is old. A terrible experience for first-time customer I won't return. I spent over $30 here for you to not give me the best service you can give me it's terrible. Various grains in this rice are very hard. People don't just think about going to a restaurant like gee, let me pay money to get old food. This is the type of things that I've noticed traveling internationally United States is supposed to have fresh food when people go to a restaurant and buy it. It probably takes rice a few hours to dry out this much. No way this is 4.6 stars. The lack of effort show they really did not care about what they were giving me.

The food was wonderful we got sweet and sour chicken and fried rice as well as lo mein and crab Rangoon and spring rolls everything was fresh and hot and the staff was very kind and friendly. The prices were good as well.

Hard to leave a review for this place. But if you know how to order from Asian restaurants you know that one place is usually good for a few things and not so great for others. Then you go somewhere else for what they are good at. Well this is one of those places. The sushi is great. Don't over use rice on the rolls. Just the right amount and seasoned well. When it comes to fried rice, forget about it. I had to refry the rice cause not only was the rice still a bit hard but I also added an egg to my combination fried rice. As someone who lived in China for 10 years I almost had second hand embarrassment for their fried rice. My lady usually likes their general tso. So in short. They do some things really well but not everything. Will definitely order again tho

Idk. I wasn’t a fan. The crab Rangoon was good. The egg-rolls weren’t. The chicken with string beans not great. The sweet and sour chicken wasn’t too good. I’m not going to say it was really gross overall. But it wasn’t good. I wouldn’t go again. The guy at the register was nice and inside seemed pretty nice. I feel like they need better quality ingredients. And fresh ingredients. Vegetables not fresh and chicken wasn’t good quality. Too overpriced. Outside needs some work too.

Loved the Bento box, the soup and the salad. The server also gave me a very fun carbonated beverage . Peaceful and pleasant.

This place was a treat! Why I'm glad you asked the server who reminded me of the actor who voiced uncle iro. The server was extremely welcoming and friendly knew the menu and was able to make recommendations for not only my picky eater, but the eater just randomly comes out and tells you they don't like X anymore. The price could be a little cheaper but matches the meals especially if you order off the Japanese menu, finally the food I didn't consider it nothing to write home about but wasn't bad either. Overall I enjoyed my experience which made the food all around better the server was warm, welcoming and knowledgeable and that was something worth it's weight in gold

Came here for lunch for first time in a long time. New Owner was very nice and put our sushi on a boat for us. Definitely will return. 🙂

I'm not usually one to write bad reviews but this experience was just terrible. I'm not sure if he was the owner but the man running the register and who took my order was very rude the whole time I was there. Absolutely no customer service skills. It was so bad that another couple came in and sat down and before they even got their order in, they got up and left due to how rude he was. I was starving so I tried to ignore the terrible customer service, but the food came out and it was just as bad. The crab rangoons were alright. And I ordered the bento box with the chicken katsu, and the texture of the chicken was like rubber, and it had zero flavor. Overall I'd never dine here again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
