Tropical Smoothie Cafe

So I started to go to this location Monday - Friday 3 years ago and have (sad to admit) spent over $4,000 on their smoothies and food. I have been an excellent and loyal customer. This morning it was raining and I didn't wear my shoes in. That was my fault. What I didn't appreciate was both men standing at the counter by the door staring at me and saying Ma'am, you have to have shoes on. They were pretty rude about it. Ok, no problem. I was wrong to go without shoes. I stood on the entry rug and asked if I could stay right there and give them my card to pay for it. Neither man said a word to me but they did make my smoothie. Even though I had my card out to pay, they didn't charge me but instead told me don't do it again in a rude tone of voice. I'm not a child and they could have been a little bit kinder about it. I told him no problem because I've spent too much money there and won't be back again.
They know my name and could have used it and been kinder when they talked to me since I've went there approximately 780 times. It's not like they don't know me.

Terrible customer service and terribly rude staff 4/16 7:30 pm staff. Staff also started banging the blender aggressively for some reason.

No straw with a smoothie? Seriously?

I really want to give this review 5 stars all around. Really. however, I just can't. I can for the service though! The young lady was training someone new and still gave amazing service to my mother and myself. so for her alone 5 stars.

Now lets get into the disappointments. First off, I didn't want to come here to begin with as it was too cold for a smoothie. I had just moved here from a major city and wasn't really sure what was around anyway. My mom wanted to come here though. When we entered, I wasn't expecting an actual food menu.

I read it through and decided on the Thai Salad. and the Kiwi, Strawberry, Yogurt smoothie. (I forgot the actual name of it). Once we got our order we sat down at one of the tables and I drank my smoothie while my mother ate her food. I did not mine because I was not hungry at the time.

The smoothie was alright. I have noticed it was better than most of the other smoothies I have had in the crap area. So kudos to that. The salad however was not that great. it was merely okay though I am pretty sure that is what put me on the toilet for over an hour a couple of hours after consuming it.

Very friendly and made what I wanted. I wish they would have the chocolate covered strawberry all year round and not just during Valentine’s Day.

I ordered the Acai bowl for the first time and it was very delicious. I am satisfied and I plan to get another one soon. I’ve added to my favorites list for Tropical Smoothie which I frequent often.

Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options including subbing real chicken for plant-based chicken.

I frequent this tropical smoothie and never have any problems with the way they are made. The customer service, especially from the manager in the mornings, is horrible. It makes me want to drive across town to a different tropical smoothie to spend my money where the environment is more positive. I feel bad for the employees that have to work with him.

I stopped in to grab a smoothie before hitting the road this morning, it was early, probably about 7:15 am so they just opened, I was greeted with a big smile and an enthusiastic “good morning” from your team member, she really made my morning better! I wish I remembered her name but she definitely makes the establishment a better place and you should be proud to have such a great employee! Thank you for a great experience and a delicious smoothie!

If you want a quick, healthy smoothie with fat burners, go here. Emphasis on quick, 2-3 minutes of waiting for a smoothie.

Very accommodating with my gluten allergy. I was able to order the hummus veggie as a bowl instead of a wrap. Thank you so much for your wonderful customer service!

Ordered acai bowl. They just throw everything on. The granola isn't even crumbled and the peanut butter I asked for is all over the lid. From now on I'll go to the actually acai bowl places
