We had a lovely evening here. I had originally made a reservation for the patio, but the weather was crummy, so I contacted the restaurant to see if we could get a table. While all the tables were booked, we had a decent set up at the bar and had a lovely time sampling some of the small plates. We had several of the day's specials, which were outstanding. Service and food were great. We will definitely be back, and we live 50 mins away!

It was recommended that each of us order two small plates to share among the four of us. Our choices were delicious. The waitress did an exceptional job serving two small plates at a time. Cocktails were well concocted.

The bar tender was rude and said we should go to a bowling alley with hamburgers and fries. Never been so insulted.

We had wonderful food and drinks here tonight. Everything was delicious top notch and service was amazing. The bartender David was very attentive and Laney was as well too. I would highly recommend coming here if you haven't been here yet! We had several different plates five to be exact and two drinks each. We will definitely be back!

Revamped, New-American locale serving residents of Fairport Harbor. The Pompadour has provided residents of Fairport Harbor, access to stylized New-American fare since 2016. Stylized New-American, having gone onto experience stark improvements in terms of quantity/presentation. Improvements, courtesy of an implied transition in terms of hired chef on-site.

The Pompadour's hired chef on-site values presentation. Presentation, within import rhetoric. Imported ingredients, stylized within progressive rhetoric leaving major US cities. The Pompadour caters to progressive demographics. Progressive demographics, seeking attention to detail, import value and stylized fare. The above, served within dining room/patio arrangements conveying an ethereal design blueprint. Full patio arrangement, ----surrounded by flora/fauna supporting the above design concept.

Perspectives accustomed to chefs within major US cities will find satisfaction in what is to be discovered within the menu-list. List-items, appealing to the above attached viewpoint. Taste and quality of list-items, supporting both visual presentation as well as text descriptors. Text descriptors, conveying the chef on-site's mastery of ingredient combinations. Ingredient combinations, designed to enthrall guests.

----inspiring multiple tapas orders.

Service standards on the evening of visit left much to be desired. Caustic, ----abrasive table-side service with minimal interest in accommodating to our party in terms of interpersonal approach. Staff are not adequately trained to interact with guests seeking x, y experience within, and intended to reflect the above attached described. Gross lack of concern in terms of mannerisms. Mannerisms, required to fully represent the venue, ----capabilities of the chef on-site.

My husband and I have dined here 4x previously. We brought my parents for them to try. The food was all really good, except the scallops were underwhelming and had no sear. The server was obviously in a sour mood from the start. Not friendly or welcoming at all. I could tell she was annoyed when she came over to explain the specials and my husband and father were talking and didn't notice her immediately to stop talking. Also, she seemed mad that they only ordered 3 plates. She was going on and on about how they are small plates and everyone should order 2-3 per person. My Dad is a very light eater, the food was plenty. My husband and I had 5 plates and it was enough. Probably won't be back.

This place is so good it could easily sit in the middle of NYC or SF and hold its own. I can't say enough good things about our experience....I think we ate one of everything on the menu! My favorites were probably the squash & brussels and the venison tenderloin. My husband's favorite was the wagyu beef special.

In addition to phenomenal food, the ambience couldn't be more cozy/intimate. We chose to sit at the bar and Kelly (who apparently is only filling in as a bartender) gave us the most special service. She has perfected the art of bartending. Engaging, warm, prompt, and helpful. She's an asset.

I'm only sad that I live far enough away that I can't eat here every week!

We were so impressed with every dish we got! The dates, short rib, and duck were our favorite plates. The Pompadour is definitely worth the drive. We will definitely be back!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options were clearly marked and more than half the menu was gluten free. Our waitress let us know the kitchen is great about changing utensils and cleaning surfaces to prevent cross contamination.
