The best dish was the Shishito peppers, followed by the scallops.Not recommended is the grilled octopus. It had some type of slippery coating on it. 3 to 4 dishes would be enough for two people. Overall experience was very satisfactory.And will return to eat the duck and meat dishes

Best menu for small plate options, so many wonderful choices. We had a quiet table in the corner for valentines day and it was perfect. Such a great find in Fairpot Harbor and very unique to the area as a whole. Highly recommend!!!

We visited the Pompadour last night with my father Patrick, from Fairport Harbor. It was such a welcoming cozy environment.The drinks were executed with perfection. The Pomp Mule was a family favorite.The food was exceptional. I cannot say enough about how thoughtful and delicious each menu item was that we ordered. My 6 yo son ordered the duck and it had him head over heals in love!
Food is exceptionally presented and delicious. Special events are fantastic. Service is very good. It is a very small place, mostly bar and very dark.

Unfortunately, I wouldn’t know how the food was because they were burning lavender in a restaurant . And I’m highly allergic to lavender so I had to leave I just have never heard of a food place burning any kind of scent! So disappointed I didn’t get to eat there. They really should reconsider that..

What a wonderful place! Great small plates, so thoughtfully put together. We had ravioli, octopus, dates, pork belly, burrata, squash & brussel sprouts. Every single plate was delicious! Fun drinks, and good wine, bourbon. And an espresso to top it all off. If you have not been here, you need to try it and soon! Can't wait to go back! My husband and I have been to Spain and love Tapas. A couple years ago we visited an we sat at the bar and heard the chef for the first 30 minutes having a temper tantrum cussing yelling and banging pots and pans. We didn't want to leave so we mentioned it to the owner they went in the kitchen and stopped it.My husband since passed away. But his parents were in town from Ireland for our daughter's wedding. Last night I asked them to go up with me for one drink and one tapa. I never really get to go to places like that anymore since I'm on my own. They used to live in Spain and enjoy tapas as well. The owner said we could sit at the bar but there were only two stools. I said that's fine I will stand. She said I can't have you in the isle. The space between the bar stool and the tables. I said fine I'll stand between the stools. We will be real quick. Just as we were about to sit my cousin recognized us and came over to give us a hug and say hi. The owner then came from around the bar put her hands on my 80 year old father in law and nudged him aside and said I can't have you people standing here like this. We explained we we're going to sit down and we're just saying hi. She started to get irrational and insisted so we left. What a shame. She may have had reservations coming in at some point but the place was half empty when we arrived. Whoever heard of a bar where you can't stand next to a stool? The place may be small but not that small. Smh
