A friend highly recommended the food so we thought we'd try it out. It was AMAZING! We haven't had Chinese food this great since San Diego! Everything was made fresh after we ordered! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend to all!
Good solid chinese restaurant. Never had an issue.
Ordered delivery for dinner for us this evening. 90 minutes later (delivery time was 45-50 mins) they delivered cold food. Had to wait for the delivery driver to come back to get our cash after they practically insisted I just get a 20% discount on my next order instead of a refund. Why do these places think if they have terrible service anyone will come back again?
We had Chinese food on Christmas Eve. It was delicious, and we had leftovers for snacking after the movie. I had sesame tofu and loved it - crispy tofu with al dente broccoli spears. It was really great! Everyone else enjoyed their meal as well.
I order from them frequently and I received a delivery tonight after an hour. It was over a hundred dollars including teriyaki steak sticks. Crab rangoon, Happy family pork , fried rice beef low meinn As well as Four egg rolls. Please understand this company is located less than a mile from my house. They kept the door dasher waiting for forty five minutes. The teriyaki steak is like shoe leather. You can't even eat it. Food was not even lukewarm. I threw the entire order in the garbage and will be calling the bank tomorrow to dispute the charges. I called the store.Someone who spoke no english answered and never said a word just listened. Please for the sake of your family and loved ones. And your health do not eat here. Is food poisoning listeria and botulism are in your future And then of course there's salmonella..
I will also be calling the health department. Yes I am a healthcare provider and you are taking your life in your hands eating in this restaurant absolutely terrible. Run run run..
We ordered delivery from China House and just received it. We ordered the Sweet & Sour chicken, and it was awful! It was honestly the worst Sweet & Sour chicken we’ve ever had. The sauce was awful, it was more tart and sour with no hint of sweet in it. The batter fried chicken (which I haven’t had in at least a decade) was bland and tasteless with more batter than chicken. We barely had 1 serving, packed up the chicken, sauce, and rice and threw it in the garbage. And that’s tough to do in this economy but it was inedible.
I cannot recommend this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I regret that I did not read reviews before ordering. Don’t be like me, read these reviews and look elsewhere and save your money.
We ordered from china house in fairview park last night. The food tasted so bad we ended up throwing the food away. My husband ordered sesame chicken , he said had a rancid taste to it. The egg rolls were uncooked and pretty gross . I ordered moo goo gai pan, chicken didn't look cooked and didn't taste good at all. Even after brushing my teeth last night, I still have a very nasty taste in my mouth this morning. Never again.
Really can’t do much about the atmosphere description because I always get takeout. When I lived in Fairview, I would either go get it, or have it delivered. And at the time when I first moved to Fairview Park, it was really good. But not so much by the time I left. And since I have moved to a new house just south of Fairview Park, I have ordered from China house three or four times, and it’s usually the same thing, beef with broccoli. When I first started ordering, The standard size rice for delivery was a pint, and it was more than a pint of your main pic so your protein and vegetables. Now you get a cup of rice, with enough protein and vegetables to make two servings, but enough rice for one. The quality of the food has gone slightly downhill.I can count on no hands the number of times that the beef has been tasty, and if there was enough sauce when plating.
This has become my go to place since moving to Cleveland. Staff is kind and food is good, never had any issues with take out orders

Food was not good. Not to mention that Chinese Food always gives sooo much you always have left overs!!! Not here, they're portions are barely worth the $$$, but this time I was glad...it's not worth saving!!!!

I ordered 2 pork egg roll but got veggie ones! Did not taste fresh. After I called they did offer to replace it but didn’t feel like going back. The place isn’t clean either. Used to order a lot but I won’t be anymore,

I've never had a bad experience here. They always pack the containers so full they need to staple them shut ans for the cost, they can't be beat.

I am very disappointed with the food. The General zso tofu was burned and hard as a rock! I couldn't eat it. Waste of money.

I frequently order the chicken lo mein and spring rolls from here. The portion size is nice for the lo main and they do make it without veggies for me. The spring rolls are competively priced. And they are always fresh and crispy. I usually buy extra for the week. The trick to reheating spring rolls is the air fryer. Total game changer. In the microwave soft and soggy in the air fryer they taste like you just got them from the restaurant fresh crispy and delicious.
