The all you can eat sushi lunch special is a great deal! They have a variety of sides and auxiliary dishes to order in addition to a wide variety of high quality sushi.

I love this place so much it was well worth it it for my first time. The sushi was amazing, the drinks were good. The vibe was great. Loved it

My wife picked up four sushi rolls for our dinner this evening, two spicy tunas and two spicy salmons. The salmon and tuna tasted exactly the same, and the fish was some kind of pureed mixture that looked more like cat food than any kind of actual fish. And when I say "tasted", there wasn't much, taste, that is. And not a jot of spicy. The only good thing I can say about the meal was that the rolls are quite large in diameter, but having larger servings of lousy food is a very mixed blessing. We won't be back.

I usually go to the Kintaros down by Fairlawn but stopped here since I was in the area with my sister. Amazing! The staff was super friendly and attentive. Our waitress stopped and checked in multiple times. This one's actually fancier on the inside compared to Fairlawn! Overall well decorated and clean. I loved the ambiance. I did the ayce hotpot and my sister did sushi. They had slightly different options which was nice for the hotpot! My sister over ordered and couldn't finish the AYCE so we had to pay a charge but it wasn't bad for how much left over sushi she had. Then she had left overs for dinner. Will definitely be coming back!

Ordered through Uber Eats. From their Westgate location.I ordered Hibachi steak and shrimp x 3.All 3 meals looked more like soup than Hibachi dinners. The shrimp and steak were over cooked, veggies ( which were 98% zuchini) were soggy beyond recognition. The food was literally floating in some sort of broth/juice. It was completely tasteless. The yum yum sauce, which is usually similar from place to place, tasted like it was made with miracle whip...it was gross.Noodles and rice were ok...just plain. The soup that came with the dinners was watered down and bland. The salad consisted of giant pieces of iceberg lettuce with an old dried up slice of cucumber and a small slice of sickly anemic-looking tomato. For 3 dinners and an eel Maki roll ( which was ok...except the ginger was old and tasted like mold), I paid 90.00.I wouldn't mind the price if the food was good. This food was just terrible.I will not be ordering from them again, and will warn others about wasting their money there.

Kintaro is mostly great. The food is pretty good and you definitely get your moneys worth, especially if you go for lunch. The host was nice and the inside nice and seemed clean. We were sat right away.on a Sunday during lunchtime. They give you paper menu to check off everything you want so we ordered some soup and salad, and some appetizers. The soups and salads came out quickly but then...everything came out at once..like apps dinners everything. Since its ayce and there were 5 of us the table was uncomfortably packed withe stuff and my entree got cold while I was still on my salad an apps... so I do wish they paced it a bit better or let you know to order your first round then wait and order the entrees later. I guess that was sort of on me but I thought there might be a bit better spacing between things. They also forgot a few things including my friends entree but we had a lot and she said she just did't need it. Our waitress was a bit frustrating, if one of us asked for something she like darted out of there we had to like beg her to come back and ask her to get the others another drink as well. It was like she only wanted to take one request at a time. Never asking if anyone else at the table needed anything so that was a bit annoying as we felt we were bothering her. Food is pretty good, I would avoid the imitation crab stuff. My hibachi shrimp and chicken was overcooked. I enjoyed the potstickers, rangoons, onion soup, salad, and tempura veggies the most. My drinks were good and decently strong. Overall I would go back its a good time and good value. I would say more like 3.5 stars if I could rate in halves.

I like eating the all you can eat- hot pot at kintaro and I am a huge fan of their spicy schezwan soup base. We like to order ours super spicy. We order the seafood and lamb, beef, pork. We also get a variety of vegetables as well. Pretty fun for the whole family! Don’t forget the sauce bar - here’s our combo in the picture with the sesame paste, hot sauce, cilantro, scallions, soy sauce and garlic! We love to accompany our food with the imported beer like Tsing Tao or Sapporo beer! Their pot of hot oolong tea is terrific and hydrating.

I’ve got 3 friends. Korean, Cambodian, and Filipino. They all agree this place is excellent for their menu variety, and limitless food. I recommend going if you’re interested in a higher end budget and wanna pig out till your heart is content.

There is a $30 all you can eat sushi dinner which I absolutely love. I ordered a mix of sushi, ordered a second round and ate a variety. They have a 10.99 charge for food waste as a policy to protect themselves which I completely agree with and have no issue with as I’ve been here a number of times and always eat everything. The one time I order seconds and not finish, the manager comes over and alerts me that what I did not finish was worth $11 total for 6 pieces of sushi. Ultimately the waitress lost on the tip for this, who equally did a subpar job.

I’ve been to kintaro about 200 times and that is not an exaggeration . I eat here anytime I’m craving sushi and I’ve spent birthdays, celebration dinners and other important events here. I’ve been to every one and they all know me and are generally very kind and nice to me.This one in particular used to be my absolute favorite because the sushi was always fresh and I never had a complaint.Costumer service is not the best here…Two days ago I went it (I go by myself sometimes when I’m feeling depressed or having a bad day) and ordered the same thing I always get. Unfortunately my sushi came out with old avocado and while eating one piece out of my role the sushi was mushy and basically just exploded in my mouth. It was completely unappetizing and made me literally gag. I debated on saying something because I knew it’d be a problem, but because the other rolls I had were filled with brown avocado and had similar bad texture and taste, I said something and assumed that they’d understand if I explained. I would’ve been satisfied if they replaced my order, or just remade my rolls, but the manager who was HIGHLY disrespectful and rude,Immediately came up to my table and insisted that I was making it up and said the sushi looked fine. I suggested he try it, was very calm and told him I wasn’t looking to argue or make a scene. He told me I was going to pay for wasting the food and that if I didn’t he’d call the police on me, so I picked up the phone and dialed 911 myself letting him know he was not going to force me to pay for unappetizing food and also threaten to call the police on me. He also said I was not made to eat sushi and that I was embarrassing myself.I let him know it was embarrassing that he was trying to force me to consume sushi that was bad and nasty, based on an assumption that I ordered more than I could handle. Now I’m not really one to get upset in public places but why is it that everytime a black person has a problem with service or just disrespectful actions towards them and they address it that they’re considered “bad?”I was shocked that as a paying customer who literally spends a lot and goes there often, tips well, and always brings extra business, was verbally attacked and threatened all because my sushi was not up to par.The kintaro on vine street would never in a milli treat me this poorly.I will legit never go here, and I suggest if you want good sushi and hotpot, go to another location, preferably the one on vine street because this location is legit for the birds and has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I myself work in costumer service. The manager can straight go seek counseling and God because he was giving possession
