I work nearby and sometimes I like to take coffee breaks at Troubadour. I prefer small high quality places for my breaks which, in my opinion, offer a very different experience than chain coffee shops like Starbucks or DD. I consistently get high quality espresso drinks at Troubadour (Cortado is my standard). Atmosphere is great for a quick read or computer work. They have an outdoor patio that I tried in the summer and it was fabulous (of course the great weather that day helped 😅). I honestly recommend this place very highly for coffee lovers who have an interest in trying different espresso drinks at small specialty places.

Decent coffee. Only pour overs for regular coffee, which is fine. Not allowing the customer annoption for cream or sugar is just snobby.

Outstanding coffee. No one else compares. The only coffee shop selling nitro cold brew the correct way. I absolutely love every chance I get to stop into this place. The owner cares about coffee more than anyone. This is a true coffee lovers coffee shop.

I love coffee more than the next person, but this place is very snobby about their coffee. My friend and I went in to enjoy your typical coffee drinks and but we’re shot down any time we asked about drinks we usually get. We were told they basically just sell straight coffee or espresso. No sweeteners, no milk/cream, no sugar, no caramel etc. I’m down for a cup of black coffee but the way the barista explained to us was “we don’t sell cups of sugar” it came off as arrogant. I posted a review on my IG story and had about 7 other people say they had the same experience. This place was empty and I can see why. This business would thrive if they let their customers order what they are looking for bc it seems like they take their craft seriously.

Small, cute coffee shop. There are no iced coffee options and only one cold brew option. A small is quite expensive at $6.50. Unfortunately, it's not what I was looking for, price-wise or menu options.

If you like to actually taste your coffee, this is your place. No sweeteners available, because it's probably not needed. A rare gem in a vast wasteland of burnt beans.

If you are someone like me that is not a coffee snob but wants to support local coffee shops, I would choose somewhere else. This place takes coffee VERY seriously. My friend and I went in and both tried to order a cold brew with oat milk. Nothing crazy we didn’t think. We were told we were not allowed to have any form of milk in our cold brew and the cold brew could not be put over ice. They explained that they brew their cold brew in a special way to bring out the natural flavors of the beans and that ice or milk will “ruin” the flavor. He said the cold brew isn’t too acidic to drink plain. He gave us a sample so we could try it and while it was definitely good I did not want a room temp black coffee. Neither of us were ALLOWED to order it the way we wanted it, you can only order it the way they want you to drink it. I think it’s great that they love their craft of brewing. However, to not even allow your customers to order what they want is bad business in my opinion. Both of us ended up with drinks we didn’t want and didn’t like because he wouldn’t allow us to customize it to our liking. I won’t be returning and will be supporting other local shops that do allow you to actually order the coffee that YOU want.

Tony and his microbrew pour overs are a new favorite. He is passionate about what he does and it shows in every cup. A great find (and even better coffee).

Best coffee shop you'll ever go to. Incredible drip coffee and some nice bakery goods to go along with it.

Completely changed my view of coffee. Not only do they have a phenomenal selection but they are clearly obsessed with coffee and go above and beyond to make it an enjoyable experience. You will forget all about Starbucks and Dunkin'.
