Cute little space. Very nice if you love light roast coffee. They are passionate about light roasting so that the delicate flavors are not dented by too much heat. They don't have any drip coffee as it is all pour over. If that is what you enjoy, that is what you will find here.Parking: The lot was next door, but odd to get into from the wrong direction. There may be a better place, but I am not a local.

I ordered an iced latte. I was a little nervous at first because I like my coffee sweet and he said they don’t have sweetener, but he assured me that they roast their coffee on the sweeter side and with the milk it would be plenty sweet. He was right! Really tasty blend - I didn’t miss the sweetener at all. I look forward to returning.

Let me say I am a cream and sugar kind of gal. However I was a former barista and it's something that I want to pick up again at home. I came to this place because I hear they don't do coffee and cream and that's pretty bold to do! To me that says you trust the quality of your product. I got a cappuccino. It wasn't as foamy as I expected but it was a very smooth cappuccino. Not like burnt tasting that most latte's have. As I dive deeper into learning about tea and coffee I will be coming back! Owner is very knowledgeable. Thank you!

As a former barista, I’m amazed at the quality of this place! Their oat milk lattes are so rich and flavorful, no sugar needed. All the little snacks taste homemade. I’ve been a couple of times now and my favorite has been the banana bread. I wish all coffee shops were exactly like this one, keep doing what you’re doing :)

My latte at Troubadour could have been the smoothest latte I have ever had. It was the perfect temperature and did not seem acidic at all. It seems this place knows coffee. You can tell by the numerous pictures throughout the dining area. It also seemed like it could be run by one person. There were several people in line and one person behind the counter. He handled all the business well and kept churning out the orders. It was kind of fun having the coffee roaster right in the dining room. My son had a hot chocolate and shortbread. He said the hot chocolate was good, but coffee is obviously the star of the show. If I am in the area I will be stopping in.
This place is a pretentious masquerade of a cafe. As far as I can tell it’s the only coffee shop around that area.I had gone here a couple times since I was in the area, and it’s more of a preference for me but the coffee here is too acidic and diluted to even really taste good of its own merit.Not only that but if you want a coffee and an espresso shot, you can’t normally get that. Or a latte, cappuccino, no the owner insists upon the coffee being taken with no added milk or sugar.The lack of freedom to enjoy a coffee the way you want at this place is insane.The receptionist was nice enough, even explained the owners philosophy. This place just isn’t for me.

You can tell the owner cares about what he does! He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He said to think of it like wine with all the different notes. I have never had a cup of black coffee I enjoyed before, so I was afraid to try it but I jumped in with both feet anyway! It was the BEST cup of coffee I've ever had, and I am SO happy I stopped in for a cup at Troubadour ?Note: for pour over coffee (like what I had) they do not have cream or sugar, but I promise you that you will not need it with these perfectly roasted and brewed coffees. The prices are VERY reasonable for the quality.

My usual experience at this café is enjoyable, with delicious coffee and a great atmosphere, and the owner is professional and friendly. However, on Saturdays and Sundays, when there is a different person serving, my experience turns negative. I paid for two cups of coffee, but their quality was poor. When I requested a third cup and asked to dilute the coffee with hot water, the interaction was inappropriate and rude, leading to being asked to leave. I can't find an explanation for this behavior other than the likelihood of racism, especially since English is not my native language, and I was sincerely trying to explain that."

The owner of this establishment was incredibly rude to my friend and I when we were there recently, when we didn’t leave immediately at 3:00 upon closing. We were there about 10-15 minutes beyond that and he was clearly very put out. The first ingredient to a successful business is good customer service and this was not it.
