Came here during the eclipse. It was extremely busy, especially for a Monday at noon, but the staff handled the rush marvelously. Had to wait for a while, but it made it even better when I got my food. The food was great (burger & fries), and the small-town atmosphere was a nice break from the busy-ness of Toledo. I might even come back down to Forest to see what this restaurant's like without all the tourism going on!
Old style interior architecture really makes this place stand out. The staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. Didn't try the food but it looked and smelled good.
We dropped in early october last year on a roadtrip from Chicago to New York. For us it was a fascinating interior, but also friendly staff and god food. A good alternative to all chain restaurants!
