My wife and I were passing through the area and we always try to find a nice local place whenever we are passing through a new town.First the good. The crispy bacon was spot on, when you say crispy bacon you expect a super crispy and salty thick cut and they nailed it. The service was good, they were nice and efficient.The bad, the place needs a lot of TLC. I’ve eaten at my share of diners, but diner does not need to equal filthy. There were coffee cups on saucers at the table when we were seated. The cups were dirty and the saucers looked like they had never been washed with a layer of dust on them. The overall condition of the place was dirty and in need of repair. I can’t imagine the walls or booths in this place have ever been throughly wiped down or cleaned and if the dining room is filthy I’d hate to image what the kitchen looks like.So I can’t really recommend this place.

The service is fast and they can accommodate groups. The chorizo breakfast omelette is good. This is a typical American restaurant with classic dishes like steak, shrimp, baked cod, liver and onions, salads and soup. A variety of pies are available. There is plenty of parking and prices are reasonable.
