Apples in the pancakes seem to be rotten? Two people tried them and spit them out. We paid, walked out and went to Perkins. I won't be back.

First and foremost I want to mention that this review is NOT in regard to this specific location, but in regard to ALL of the Bob Evans locations (at least in the greater Cincinnati/Dayton area.) With that said...the value (and more than in the past - the quality of the food) and level of service at Bob Evans has dropped significantly. Today our group ordered 2 soups, a chicken tenders dinner, and a WildFire Chicken Salad. Of these items the Chicken Tenders received the most positive comments. It actually looked much like it always has. Unfortunately, that is the only positive part of our visit. The soups were rated as okay, and they were not warm, but lukewarm at best. The WildFire Chicken Salad was the most dissappointing. This salad used to be very good and a good value. No longer. This was the second time within a month a member of our party order this particular salad (we figured it was worth another shot based on past experience). First, this salad USED to have strips of fried chicken (think sliced up chicken tenders). No longer. The salad that was received tonight had only 5 small pieces of fried chicken...I would describe them as about the size of 1/4 to an 1/8 of a chicken nugget you might get at a fast food restaurant. Also, the salad used to have fajita strips in them...none. To be fair they have replaced them with fried onions. That would be okay except no one in our group could see any fried onions either. Cheddar cheese. Well, there was some in there. We guessed a little under an 1/8 of a cup. The worst part was the value. The salad is also smaller than it used to be, but the price as gone up significantly. We figured the positive part was that it was lower in calories than the O.G. versions ;-) Needless to say - no one in our group is planning on ordering this item again. Oh, and just in case your wondering why we would go back again - one of the grandparents in our group still likes Bob Evans and that is always his choice when he chooses. P.S. NO biscuits or dinner rolls came with any of our meals either!

Me and my sons came here this evening about 8:15 pm. There was only one other table in the restaurant. The food and service was absolutely terrible. All the employees were standing in the front of the house talking, we asked for refills and the server continued to talk with her coworkers. She brought refills 15 minutes later. I ordered loaded baked potato soup, never received it. I ordered the turkey meal as my entree, they brought pot roast. By time the turkey came out my kids were over halfway done. The turkey was cold, they gave me loaded mashed potatoes instead of regular mashed potatoes. I asked if I could get it replaced and instead brought out a bowl of loaded baked potato soup. I told her I wanted the soup at the beginning of the meal and to take it off the bill. Still never got regular mashed potatoes and she didn’t come back to the table. I had my meal removed from the bill because of the multiple issues. A manager didn’t check on us even with all the problems and it was the assistant manager who cashed out our bill! Unfortunately we will never be eating at this location again and make the drive to Hamilton instead. I now know why this location is never busy… cold food and terrible service.

We got a large carryout order for a family event, and were beyond disappointed with the food. The quarts of mashed potatoes were dry, scorched, and excessively thick. They were nearly inedible. We purchased 3 quarts of chicken and noodles, and received noodles that were clearly substituted with low quality store-bought curly noodles. They were VERY thin, broken, and mealy. They essentially disintegrated as soon as they were ladled out of the container, creating a mushy, watery mess in our bowls. We look forward to this family night of pumpkin carving and Bob Evans food evey year, and every family member was very disappointed. When we called the store, no one offered a refund, gift cards, or any other remedy. They admitted the noodle substitution, but didn't offer to fix our ruined evening in any way. Because of that, we won't be buying family carryout dinners there again, and we'll make certain that no one else we know will either. What a shame....

Was gonna eat dinner but sat there 10 minutes and the waitress walked by didn't even acknowledge us. Went to the people behind us got their drinks and took there order while we sat there and we were there probably 5 minutes before the other people. So probably not going back to that restaurant. Hoping it wasn't racial the waitress was a young black girl.
