If you’re looking for a place that feels like home the moment you walk in, this southern mom’s restaurant is it. From the very first visit, we were blown away—and we’ve come back three more times since because it’s that good.
Grandma’s homemade biscuits and gravy are absolutely unforgettable—fluffy, warm, and smothered in the most flavorful gravy you’ll ever taste. The home-fried potatoes are adorable, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. My husband tried the homemade French toast and said it was the best he’s ever had. And the pancakes? Light, delicious, and cooked to perfection. Every dish tastes like it was made with love.
What truly sets this place apart is the service. The lovely lady with the beautifully naturally white permed, curled hair is always floating around the dining room with the sweetest smile. She makes you feel welcomed, appreciated, and right at home every single time. Her name Hilda! Today 11-21-25 she dressed adorable as usual, I got the pleasure of her taking a picture with me!
The restaurant is always clean, always busy, and always consistent. Service is fast, friendly, and top-notch, and the food never misses. Some of the staff who we have had the pleasure of taking care of us with phenomenal service and exceptional customer service were Kim, and Tammy I believe and this visit teresa.
If you want a heartwarming dining experience with incredible homemade southern comfort food, this is the place to go. We can’t wait to come back again!

We came to Mom's on Saturday, 11/15, at about 11:00 AM. There was a large group waiting for a seat and it was just my husband and myself so we sat at the counter. It took a while for the waitress to even get water and had to ask for a menu. After 15 minutes of having waitresses ignore us to wrap silverware, grab change and run food. We see our so called server taking orders with another waitress at the large table that was waiting. We ended up walking out and going to Waffle House. We were greated with food in under 15 minutes. I would not suggest this restaurant unless you want to be totally ignored.

Their biscuits and gravy is exactly how my grandmother used to make it! Very generous portions. The workers are always friendly and show hospitality.
Couldn't try the food due to cash only
How not to grow a business without card users so went to the waffle house instead with better prices

Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. They are only open till 1:30pm.
Good breakfast food. Cute atmosphere with a gazillion coffee cups and UK sports memorabilia. Very comfortable feel to the restaurant. One of us had a Mom's breakfast special which included biscuits and gravy that really tasted like Mom's home cooking. The other had a veggie omlet with fried potatoes- delicious!

Found this place a year ago and been taking my dad in for biscuits and gravy regularly...so good!! We wish it was bacon gravy, but the food is amazing and you will enjoy!! Mom has been amazing and friendly so has her regulars at the table with her!!
I had the pancakes for breakfast with a side of scrambled eggs. My grandpa and his friend both had biscuits and gravy as well as sausage and eggs. They come here all the time and love the food.
I don't know if I came on a bad day, but the pancakes were not very good. They tasted overly floury and they were dense.
I did have a bit of my grandpa's food and it was very good, so I'll be back, just not to get the pancakes.

Great food and so cheap I wonder how they stay open, not to mention the owner was a sweetheart, she did have a Trump photo on the wall which I'm not a huge fan of but not everyone has to share the same opinions so it's not gonna affect my score. Will definitely be back

Had a single order of biscuits gravy and eggs, over easy eggs cooked extremely well, but the texture of the biscuits as well as the gravy just weren’t for me there’s a grit to the gravy that wasn’t particularly pleasing, although the flavor was good, I eventually didn’t end up even wanting to eat the whole plate, missed out on the opportunity to try the pie and I regret that because I’m sure they’d be great, we didn’t have enough cash on hand at the moment

This is a solid breakfast place. There is limited seating, so there may be a wait. The food is good, though I was a bit surprised by how thick the gravy was, especially considering it is a house specialty. The service was good.
