Let's start by saying the server was great. We stopped in before church, and it took so long to get our food served that we missed church. My understanding is they had a lot of take out orders. You have to be careful when doing both. If you can't provide an enjoyable experience inside your diner, you're gonna lose those customers. Finally, the food wasn't what I remembered from decades earlier before moving out of state. B&G needs flavor. With mom n dad moving back to the area, we'll cross this one off our list of must stops.

Billy’s restaurant was good, but the servings have gotten smaller with the new owners. Haven’t been in since before Covid and the food was good but definitely smaller portions. The wait staff was busy, but attentive to our needs. The restaurant facilities are upstairs so handicapped accessibility is not good. Steps are steep even for a younger crowd, but that is the results of an older building being utilized for this business. Just be prepared if you use the restroom a lot. It is a hike.
Parking: Diagonal street parking is a challenge during rush hour.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility would be a challenge small isles and restrooms upstairs.

9-9-2024 I recently visited Billy’s Diner, and the difference under the new management is night and day! The previous owner was notorious for slow service and a lackluster attitude, but the new team is stepping up in all the right ways.
From the moment you walk in, it’s clear they are serious about improving. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every customer feels welcomed. Speed of service has improved drastically – my meal was out in record time, piping hot and absolutely delicious! The food quality is clearly a priority now, with fresh ingredients and flavors that make each bite memorable.
It's great to see Billy’s not just surviving but thriving under this new leadership. If you haven’t been to Billy’s lately, I highly recommend giving it another shot. Customer satisfaction is at the forefront, and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to grab a bite. Keep up the great work, Billy’s!

Had a delicious breakfast here and the where's on my eggs were not slimy and my yolk was yolks which seems to be a hard thing to get in this area. The huge plate of home fries was delicious and the staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean. I will definitely be back.
