We had 15 people in our party. The service from Melissa was terrific. She was super nice. The food was delicious and served hot. The portions were large and you could tell it was home made. No frozen stuff. We would definitely go back.
We did not know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised by this little diner. The food was delicious, and you could tell it was made with love. The baked goods/cakes are all homemade and the meats used are local. The servers were very friendly and welcoming. Not too far off the turnpike if you are travelling through and want a small town diner to get a good meal.
Let's start by saying the server was great. We stopped in before church, and it took so long to get our food served that we missed church. My understanding is they had a lot of take out orders. You have to be careful when doing both. If you can't provide an enjoyable experience inside your diner, you're gonna lose those customers. Finally, the food wasn't what I remembered from decades earlier before moving out of state. B&G needs flavor. With mom n dad...
