Cars in the parking lot, thought it was closed down, but NO, it's still rocking. Definitely to return for a good mex meal w/out the wait.

It was good if you are a cheese lover. For me, the cheese was just too much but the flavors were very good. Also got tacos (amazing) and something with shrimp, IIRC?

Stopped here after work, starved and craving some good Mexican food. From the outside it looks like an average Fremont storefront. Inside it is anything but. Walking in I was greeted almost immediately and told to sit anywhere I liked. A menu, chips and salsa showed up shortly after I sat down. The salsa was loaded with fresh cilantro and onion. Not the seasoned tomato sauce you get at some places. I ordered the Bonitas, which is pretty much a loaded nachos and when I say loaded...it was loaded. As hungry as I was I ate half and tapped out. The waitress was super sweet and checked on me multiple times to make sure I was ok. My drink never got much below the halfway point before she refilled it. Food taste was good, lettuce was really fresh and crisp. I was by myself so I watched how other customers were treated and it was the same all around. I highly recommend giving them a try, I know I'll be back.

It was a great night out in Fremont. My man and I had the whole place to ourselves. Food was delicious. We stayed for dessert and was lost in time. 7:30 to 8:30 till closing time. Thank you ?

I used to love this place years ago. I regret going back!It was luke warm.greasy and disgusting!I asked for a side of guacamole and it cost 5 bucks.Everything was tasteless and bland.I will never recommend this place again! I complained to the manager and this dirty looking guy walks up and I said (after one bite) I don’t like this and she doesn’t either! He made me pay anyway !Never again!

I was greeted with stressed straight faces who seemed almost annoyed with my entry (a one top table.) they do not have cheese sauce, they offered me two salsas with no explanation of what they are, no napkins or silver ware given until asked. My Dr Pepper was all syrup no fizz. Chicken chimichanga was basically a deep fried chicken taco with cheeses cheese on a plate, no sauce, no peppers inside. Will not come back.

I really like this 2nd version of a Detroit staple! I have enjoyed both restaurants and the food is fabulous. Service was great.

This place was alright. Food was OK, prices are on the high side. I ordered a plate of nachos, and while the meat, cheese, and other toppings on them were tasty, somehow all the chips were soggy and so I pretty much had a basically Nacho casserole. It did taste good though. They do serve desserts but they are not on the menu, and I may be reading too far into it, but it seems to me this may be on purpose. Because they charge $7 for a small, albeit decent, piece of pie. If they put that on the menu you probably wouldn't order it. It seems to me this may be an attempt to be misleading. I am reading others' reviews stating that they charged them for the bowl of chips they serve with the meal, the chips they give you, without asking, when you sit down. They did not do this to me, however between mine and others' experiences it seems they may possibly be trying to mislead. But again, I may be reading too far into it.

The owners and staff are so friendly and accommodating. The food isn't too bad. It's a little bland and nothing special. The margaritas could have been a lot stronger. I'm not looking to get drunk but I would like to taste a good drink. Again bland weak margaritas. They work hard to please you and I did appreciate their service. I don't know if I'll be back but maybe.

Best Mexican food in the county. Food is authentic, plentiful, flavorful, and not necessarily spicy. The chips and salsa that they bring to the table when you are seated, are NOT free. They cost $3. I was told it was changed in December 2021.They lose a star for this. The waitress got a 0.01% tip. The rest is in the chips.Prices on the menu have been raised at least twice that I'm aware of in the past 3-4 years.UPDATE 12-30-2022:I forgot that they charged me for chips and salsa last time and agreed to have them on my table. The menu used to say "no substitutions" or something to that effect. I asked about getting the Flour Combination Plate but with corn tortillas. Corn tortillas have half the carbs (16g) of flour tortillas and those are 32g each! Plus corn is whole grain. I also inquired if doing that would reduce the current price of the Flour Combination Plate.I was told by the hostess that if you want the Flour Combination Plate with corn tortillas, you order the El Rancho Combination Plate. "A flauta and a chimichanga are basically the same thing. It was a difference of $3.50 so I ordered the El Rancho Combination Plate. Then I got on Google to see what a flauta was and found that it's closer to a taquito. The chimichanga is just a deep fried burrito. Not quite close enough. Also had to give up the quesadilla that comes with the Flour Combination Plate.Service was good, I didn't even get charged for the chips and salsa. It was a good meal but the refried beans tasted like they had been cooking too long.Features: One waitress wears a mask. The rest of the staff do not.

We came for the deep-fried flour tacos and they didn't disappoint. Expensive desserts

Do not waste your money! If you're looking for some real authentic Mexican food this is not the place for you! There was no seasoning in food, and the meat was watered down. The chicken was all mashed together like potatoes! I rarely give negative reviews on mexican restaurants. The chips and salsa were the only decent item they had. The service was also terrible. We asked for extra chips he never brought anymore. He said he had to go make some. But 2-mins after he walked away, I went to pay and there were plenty of chips. We also asked for napkins didn't get those either. He never asked for refills, it was just a horrible experience in general.

Your 3 year old could cook this food. Quite literally, microwaved burritos, instant minute rice, and floutas that is only ground beef with no flavor. I can’t believe this is labeled “Mexican” food. To make it all the worse, the margarita wasn’t strong enough to make me not care about the nasty food and the $3 for each handful of chips. Which they continually brought out without informing us we were apparently eating gold in chip form.
