Seriously, the worse prepared food I've ever had since enjoying Asian cuisine back from 1961. Ordered Almond Chicken, had no almonds, water had a higher level of viscosity than this dish, even the WonTom soup was thicker. Vegies over cooked and mush. Also had Subgum, same situation but ZERO flavor, and the egg drop soup had no flavor. Egg Roll was crispy on the outside but the inside was also mush. This is the second time I've eaten there with a 5 yr break in between, I honestly think its gotten worse. Sorry, I'm just being honest, I will never go back again.

Haven’t ordered from here in years and this evening I was craving an eggroll with my dinner. I placed my order, I didn’t realize the soup didn’t come with the meal anymore. I thought I was subbing wonton for the egg drop, but was charged for it instead, which I could live with. I get home to only realize that I had 2 scoops of fried rice, and no eggroll and my almond chicken was basically fried chicken tenders with a side of cream of chicken soup with a few almonds sprinkled on top. I called to ask about the eggroll and was told “we gave you double rice because we are out of eggrolls”. I paid 25.00 bucks for my “platter” that was anything but a platter and it would have been nice to tell me there would be no eggroll in my meal WHEN I ordered it. Never again. Too bad, ate here many times in past and the place has obviously had better times.

I have eaten at the Golden Dragon many times in the past. My mom loved the food as did I. I knew during covid that they were a take-out only establishment. I thought by late summer of 2024 they would be open for dine-in. I was shocked to see they are still take-out only. I will have to go back to other Chinese restaurants for my pepper steak. I have no knowledge if the food is as good as it used to be or not. I will not sit in a car and try to eat saucy food. A very sad situation for what was once a wonderful eating experience.

My favorite thing to get @ Golden Dragon is the chicken noodle soup but something has changed 3-6 months . Now when I order it it is VERY salty and I can't even eat it . I hoped it would change back but hasn't . I hope the owners see this and find out why. Other than that the food is great .
Highly not recommended. This place has gone down since covid. All they care about is money. The owner is very unprofessional and rude. I've ordered pepper steak and got no peppers before told they were out of peppers smh. Many times over have gotten home to find no soy sauce, no egg roll. Call the store and they dont believe you.
I've eaten here many times only because the choices in this small town are not great for Chinese.
Ordered today and ordered a small wonton soup only to find out they stopped selling smalls. But the owner never mentioned that when ordering.
Oh also the prices all went up again. Wasn't made aware of that either. Used to get a free soup with the combos but it all costs extra now. They raise the prices and give less food and don't even let you know the prices have gone up. The quality vs price is not at all worth it. I will never eat there again. You can only screw your customers over so much before enough is enough.
I do not recommend them. I'd take your money across town to the other one or do what ill do from now on goto another town and get Chinese.

No where do they tell you that this place is carryout only!! We went for lunch as it said they were open. Got there and found a handmade sign on the door saying "take out only". Too bad they don't tell you before you make a trip there. If it's good, we'll never know as we left and found another place for lunch. Really horrible information.
