Sat outside at table ,place packed during street fair ,1960 1970 music live. Waitress very busy. Understandably slow service, but I ordered two appetizers for the table, potatoes balls and fried green tomatoes. Each about $8.00. They were tasty BUT they brought the tomatoes on a cutting board with a drizzle of sauce on it with 3 slices of tomatoes , 3 slices paper thin for a table of 4 adults. 3 SLICES I COULD NOT BELIEVE 3 SLICES FOR $8.00 DOLLARS. NOT EVEN 1 WHOLE TOMATOE . DEEP FRIED WITH BATTER . 3 SLICES. Sorry you lost 4 customers that night. The table of 7 next to us could not believe that's what they had the nerve to serve us..

My wife and I stopped in for early dinner after visiting the Hayes library and museum. Decent food, good beer and busy place. We enjoyed everything we had and would come back again when in the area.

Stopped in for a lunch on a weekday. The place has a clean industrial vibe atmosphere. Definitely try Beth's Bite tequila cocktail. It was a crisp and refreshing accompaniment to my meal. Sauerkraut bites were fantastic! Golden and crispy on the outside while soft and moist on the inside. My salmon was great. The waitress said the chef recommends it at a medium well, and while I was hesitant and worried it may be over cooked it wasn't. The rice it came with was a bit on the salty side, but it balanced out with the salmon and veggies when I would do a bite of everything. My hubby ordered the fish and chips and while he enjoyed it, he said the batter was a bit too thick and the homemade tartar sauce didn't quite do it for him. I think we'd stop by again and try more of the menu next time we are passing through here.

My sister and her boyfriend had dinner with a few friends tonight. The food was good, but the manager was absolutely unprofessional. There was lipstick on my sister's glass (she doesn't wear lipstick) so she asked for a new glass. The manager rolled her eyes and got her a new glass. When leaving, my sister asked to speak to the manager about her experience. The manager didn't apologize for the used glass and gave my sister unnecessary attitude. She didn't have a nametag and was blonde. My sister isn't one to complain, but a used glass with lipstick would make anyone sick. Highly unprofessional. At least the brownies were good.

its really expensive, but the food was great. not spectacular for that price. kinda dry on the ribs, no brisquit. i got the new your strip and their 10 oz. both medium. one was over cooked the other under. and would prefer a better seer. the waitress and help staff were incredible and polite i couldnt get my drink down half way.

The male manager was rude as all get out to the staff right in front of our table! The cake that they claim is “home made” was bought from a store, served to another table and it had MOLD in it. The night we ate, myself and my son got food poisoning. I’d stay away from this place if you don’t want to be in the ER the next day!

It was comfortable. They have a bar with excellent selection. The Cod fish sandwich was huge. All the food was excellent. I had salmon and wedge salad, big servings. The wedge is enough for a meal by itself.
Whenever I’m in Fremont, I love to stop in at the Garrison. Always a great meal and great drinks. Sarah by all means is one of the most attentive and friendly bartenders I have ever come across.

Waited over 30 mins for our food even though we got there when it opened and there wasn't a lot of ppl. The cook actually made food for what I assumed was another staff member or owner first before we were served. Speaking from my own restaurant experience, you're only suppose to serve staff members when there are no customers around.
The food wasn't all that. Extremely over priced for what it is.
The only good thing I can say about my first time here was we had a really cool waitress and the atmosphere was really nice.
