We ordered the volcano sushi and it came out on a plate looking like dog vomit. They were chincy.

Beware...Nine friends and I went to Asian Gourmet on Saturday, July 26 to celebrate a 76th birthday. First, the manager did not speak when we walked into the establishment. Then, he walked past our table several times and stared at us because we were sitting at the tables conversing after we finished eating. He even gave the thumbs up symbol when we were leaving. I will never patronize this business again. The manager is rude and unprofessional. I have never been made to feel that I need to leave an establishment because other customers are waiting to be seated. In addition, our server never checked on us nor offered us any dessert. My experience at this restaurant was an F rating. There are a plethora of excellent Asian restaurants in Columbus where management
would never treat guests as we were treated.

Very good sushi options and choices. Easily some of the best sushi in Columbus.
I love the food and the atmosphere at this restaurant, however there is one staff member that could use some training in customer service when cashing out customers.
Beautiful space. The food is so fresh and delishious. My kids love the shushi, I like everything else. The workers are very polite and attentive. Great time.

This place is amazing ! The food was absolutely fantastic the service was great Jacob our server was very friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better experience!
Ps. We got the curry chicken and seafood blen and the orange chicken with the Thai calamari. Amazing.
I love sushi, but the 2 things I ordered (seaweed salad and spicy salmon roll) were both drenched in too much sauce. I wasn't able to really taste the different flavors in the food because of it, which was disappointing. Service was a little slow even though they weren't crowded. I won't go back.
I used to live in New York City and eat in Chinatown. The food here is better in many ways, excellent ingredients, well prepared,
Delicious food in a nice atmosphere.
1 hour wait, watching people get seated that came in way after we did , made the food just taste like food. Not very enjoyable after that experience.

I would like to share my recent experience with this restaurant. Our family has supported this business since moving to the Gahanna in 2015. Recently, we have noticed a decline in the service and most recently the food. My last two experiences have me not wanting to support this business moving forward. The last order we placed was given to another customer. That customer realized he had the wrong order and returned it to the restaurant while I was there to pick it up. The staff and manager attempted to give me the order like nothing happened. When I refused to accept the order they got upset. I was told it was a mistake but the order had not been touched. I again refused. They eventually remade the order. This order was approximately $200.
My latest issue was that we again placed a food and sushi order and 3 of the rolls were missing a piece in each one. I called to report this issue and was told that what I was report could not be true because they always put the correct number in the order and it was not possible. My frustration came as I was describing my problem I was cut off several times and told that what I was reporting could not be true. I was then offered a credit for the three rolls and told I could collect it on my next order.
Please note, there will not be a next order. I truly believe in supporting local business, but when that business does not respect me, then I cannot and will not continue to support it. Asian Gourmet just lost a customer tonight.
This place was one of the best authentic Asian restaurants I've ever been to in the US and I lived all across Asia for several years.
Hands down the shrimp tempura, Pad Kee Mao and Buckeye roll with spicy tuna were awesome. Great atmosphere and very attentive customer service! I will be back when I travel to Columbus again!
Can't beat early lunch BOGO on select rolls. The nutty (irishman?) Roll and Buckeye rolls are over the top. Always fresh tasting, good value and decent amounts of fish.
We have ordered several menu items, all superb. Thai Basil, Mongolian Stir Fry, Pepper steak, Szechuan, sushi….no bad choices!
Wow. Absolutely delicious
