Gahanna location is by far my favorite. Agar always takes extra care in her service and duties, and they have some of the oldest running employees. The ones that could do what they do blindfolded. Keisha, and Monty lead the way on the boards, always consistent, always a 9. Take it from me, go out of your way to make this the location you visit.

Barry is a true asset! Always friendly and bends over backwards to accommodate customers. I stop in for late dinner for my wife. Hard to beat anything on the menu. Love the cornbread and potato salad!
Cozy, casual atmosphere with great great food. This was the second year that weâve decided to integrate City Barbeque into our thanksgiving festivities this year we chose nachos and tacos, pulled pork with chicken and all the fixings.

Ordered Lolo pulled pork sandwich for carry out online & asked for the creamy slaw to be on the side. When I got back home and sat down and had everything ready I realized there wasnât any âslaw at all. I donât live very far away, so distance wasnât necessarily the issue. Went back to get the slaw and as I was leaving (âslaw in hand) with barely a âsorryâ from one employee, I could hear the employees laughing and mocking me about how I would come all the way back just for a side of the coleslaw. The fact that I had to come back shouldâve been enough but for the employees to act that way is extremely unprofessional. Ended up having to reheat the fries and sandwich but none of it is the same which is a bummer for spending almost $20 for ONE meal. There was hardly anyone in the establishment and absolutely NO line, so they definitely werenât pressed for time. Very disappointed.

I shared my experience at this location because I visited on a Sunday afternoon after church with a senior citizen and all of the young men working there were exceptional in their customer service skills with us! It's not about the food this time, but the patience and kindness of every young man working that day had with this senior citizen who decided to stop in and buy dinner for her son who had been in a car accident recuperating at home. It spoke volumes about each of their character and City Barbeque should be proud of their staff!
