I ordered a cake in advance and provided a picture to the bakery (see the first picture below) which they confirmed they could replicate. The only modifications I requested were changing baby blue to pink and replacing flowers with more stars. However, when I arrived for pickup, the cake was not as expected. Instead of the icing disco balls shown in the reference, they placed three tiny plastic disco balls in random spots. There was also no writing on the cake initially.
A young employee, whom I had never seen before, quickly added the lettering upon request. The result was smudged, uneven, and white on a light pink background—barely visible. When I asked for corrections and inquired about the missing icing disco balls, she simply said they used plastic ones because they already had them. I requested more decorations to fill the empty space. She went back and returned with a cake that now had gray lettering and icing disco balls—but still asymmetrical and very messy. She made these changes without even discussing them with me.
I paid $120 for this cake, and with 60 seniors coming to my daughter’s birthday party, I had no time to order a replacement. Had they been honest upfront about their limitations, I would have gladly taken my business elsewhere. Instead, I was left with a disappointing cake at the last minute, with no time to fix it. Extremely frustrating experience!

They couldn't get "happy birthday Anne Uumellmahaye" on my 6" cake because of the kiwi on top but it still tasted good. They did put a little Happy birthday sign on instead.

Wasted gas driving all the way here just to find out they wasn’t open even though the website said they was open they had no signs on the door saying they was closed for the holidays or anything very inconvenient for the customers

This cake was absolutely phenomenal!
Down to the flavor which was perfectly balanced, the texture was incredibly moist and fluffy,
Every bite was a pure delight,
I mean every little element was so perfect.
however this bakery is a true gem!
I’ll personally will be back very soon

I didn’t get what I ask for. I order a cake for my baby shower (Winnie the Pooh theme) I gave them 3 inspiration picture and saying that I trust them but just make it pretty, I paid in full $240 for it. They told me they will call to talk about the cake (never did) I walk in 2 days before the pick up day to add a topper that I need to drop off. Show them the picture again and I told them the cake don’t have to be exact but just make it close as possible. The cake was really good but I’m disappointed of the outcome. Not what I ask for.

I've gotten many cakes from this bakery over the years and they never disappoint. Today I picked up the strawberry cake with a custom design, a tiramisu cake which I added some decorations to, and mini cheesecakes. It was for my granddaughters' 17th birthday and everyone really enjoyed the desserts. Bonus stars would be given if I could because everyone who works there is so sweet.

The cakes are the best. Tried three flavors (strawberry, chocolate, mocha) and they were pretty good. The icing is light and not too sugary. The owners are super nice as well. Highly recommend!
We love golden delight. I usually get this for my boyfriend on special occasions, he loves the strawberry kiwi cake. Every single time i come in, i’m greeted with exceptional service & i usually have my daughter with me, and they always offer to bring my items to the car for me!! 10/10 recommend! :)

I went to Golden Delight in Gahanna today to pick up one of their strawberry cakes. While I was waiting for it to be boxed up, I decided I would take a dozen of the cheesecake bites. Everything is delicious. The staff was very helpful and assisted me carrying the items to the car.
