Max and Erma‘s is a great place to meet, unless you’re looking for something quiet. Reasonable prices in a fun atmosphere. A Columbus favorite.

I attended the M&E’s on Hamilton Rd today 1/9/20. It was the worse experience I have had at this establishment. The burger was not cooked correctly and it was cold. Also the bartender had on a purple crown royal shirt that looked like he had slept in it for multiple days. I will NEVER visit this establishment again. I can understand why many restaurants are closing. They sure are not what they used to be.

I only give it 4 stars because staff failed to fix a wobbly table we were sat at. Along with many others, wobbly tables make a trip out to eat very discomforting. Other than that, the food was great! The burgers served from this franchise are big and tasty. Love it!

Typically have great experiences with all Max & Erma's but this trip was not. My husband ordered the garbage burger medium well, it was more rare than anything! They did comp the meal and offer a replacement but we had already waited 45 minutes for the first one. We didn't have enough time to wait for another! This was at 3 in the afternoon so they were not busy. Very disappointed this time!

I enjoy our Gahanna Max and Erma's. The food prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly. The wait staff are willing to make adjustments to the menu items to make it just what I want.

First my mom and I were seated in an area that was very loud with a large party. My mom is older and asked for a quieter seat. Our waitress was amazing!!! She gave us a new seat and talked so down to earth with us through our whole visit !!! Her name on my receipt is Shay. She gave us recommendations and a very pleasant visit!!! I wish all servers gave customer service as she did !!!

The long wait never ceases to amaze me. Its 6:30pm on a Saturday. We ordered a meatloaf and a hamburger 30 minutes ago and it's still not here. The server tells us the kitchen's is backed up. When is it not? It's not that crowded. Okay...so just got the check and they comped one of the meals. Makes it a little better...

Poor service! We waited for everything! We ordered drinks and it took 25 minutes to get them!!! Three stars because once our meals finally arrived, they were good. We won't go back though.

As always, the french onion soup was AMAZING! Tried the pulled pork for the first time today, it was great as well. Our food came out fast and hot, just how we like it!

First thing you have to do on entering Max & Erma's is order your cookies. That way they arrive at your table soft and gooey and ready to eat when you are done with your meal. Order twice as many as you think you can eat. They are incredible.
