Took my wife, daughter and son in law during Christmas. Our order took a very long time and when it did only three meals arrived. We we were told a new cook started and spoke little English. I never got my meal and in the end they comped our dinner check.
Our server did his best but felt we could have been informed of the situation earlier.
We were there longer than the show we went too, the Nutcracker.
It would take a lot to give them another chance.

The atmosphere of the Goat at this location is very welcoming and has a more cozy & relaxed vibe.
The food, as pretty much always at The Goat Restaurants, was amazing. The quality of the food is great for the fact that a lot of the items are scratch-cooked which is awesome.
I have been enjoying the new holiday drinks. They are eye-catching and taste great.
The staff was very friendly, and kudos to the male Bartender with the hurt hand. You could tell it was hurt yet he didn't let it show and gave great service.
Vegetarian options: If you need a change or tweak to the preparation of your entre, don't feel shy in skiing if your server would see if the cook would alter the dish. I have seen many customers ask and most times kitchen can accommodate the request.
Dietary restrictions: Ask for what your needing and in most cases there are dishes or kitchen is willing to alter a dish to provide you with the service you were hoping for.
Parking: No parking lot yet there is curb parking going all around the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Yes.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

We chose The Goat for our informal rehearsal dinner for around 40 people. the service was INCREDIBLE. They were extremely accommodating and helped us so much along the way. (Even with only a few days notice). Our server was a rockstar and the food was AMAZING. Also, a huge shoutout to the service manager who was so kind to us and able to accommodate when there were a few mix ups.

We love coming here…more so because of the bartender Summer. She is so attentive, quick, and so sweet. Her personality is the best! We have been to a few GOATs throughout the city and suburbs and this is DEFINITELY our favorite. I have always wanted to try new things on the menu and she has never steered me wrong. Our friends have trusted in us for the recommendations and now come here as well! Volleyball and the live music is awesome here! Vibes all AROUND!

This location is I my favorite in my opinion primarily because of the service and food. Atmosphere is more quaint and inviting compared to New Albany. We go mainly because an employee named Summer who is so sweet and has a great attitude, fun to be around.

The Goat Gahanna is my favorite location. The staff are SO welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere is cozy but fun. I met Summer when I first performed here and when I came back the next time she remembered my go to drink and food order. She is one of the hardest workers I’ve met and truly makes The Goat Gahanna a special and welcoming place!!! 10/10 recommend this location for a study sesh on the cafe side or for a drink/food stop in the evening.

I live in the LC but do not frequent the Goat very often. The food is decent but the drink prices make you think it’s fine dining. The last time we were there, people were smoking pot on the patio with the manager sitting at their table. I know it’s legal but not what I want to smell while I’m eating. The only bright spots are the location and Summer. Summer works her ass off and is always upbeat to her guests.

UPDATE!
I originally gave a 1 star review due to the terrible service I received. Let me tell you I went back recently 2 times and each time Summer took amazing care of not only me but everyone at the bar! She is great! She anticipates needs and remembers small details about everyone .Excellent service!
This place has really gone down hill! I ordered an Old Fashioned and this is what I got. The bartender Andy saw no problem with this. Last time I was here she was on her phone after I ordered a glass of wine. Spoiler alert, I left after waiting 15 mins. Only 6 people in the bar but her texting was more important. I miss Summer! She knew how to bartend! This used to be a cool place to grab a drink.
Food was great, the interior was unique, my wife's cocktail was delicious and Shawn W. Provided excellent service and was awesome to conversate with. I recommend the devil's on Goatback Flatbread a delicious twist on a classic dish
