First and last visit. Looks like a nice place, unfortunately the two lattes we got were undrinkable. Guessing the espresso machine was not dialed in. Whatever the reason the espresso was brutal.

Fantastic coffee. Great prices. Cute, comfortable space. Highly recommend.
Update Nov 2025 - All the staff here are pleasant and happy to be there. Great vibe, and great breakfast sandwiches. Also, I periodically drink coffee, so I'll come to UC because their Ethiopian coffee is organic and smooth. ☕️
Got two drip 16oz coffees. They were perfect. Baked goods case was completely empty when we were their
I’ve been a customer of Upper Cup for years now (downtown location). Gahanna location has a very similar atmosphere. Prices are good, food is good, and the workers are very warm and nice. I like the ham sandwich and just black coffee. It’s a nice place to hang.

Visited on Saturday, and it was my first time in despite being a local to the area. I will definitely put this in my regular coffee rotation. The breakfast sandwich was delicious, the coffee was good, atmosphere great, and my entire order was only $9

20 minute wait for a cappuccino and iced chai
Brought my girlfriend here to do some work on her laptop while I hung out with some friends nearby. Their google maps said they were open and there was nothing on their social media indicating they wouldn't be. However we arrived after a 40 minute drive to find the entire street shut down for a festival and the coffee shop closed. Could have at least modified their hours on google maps for the FOUR DAY festival or just made a social media post saying they wouldn't be open. Pretty frustrating.
Great place to meet a friend for a long chat
