I left a review previously but deleted it after being mocked by the business in a response to my review. But I’m going put my review back up. The atmosphere is very cute and the location is convenient, but I do not like the coffee. I’ve probably been here 5-10 times and I just consistently don’t like anything I order there. The iced lattes don’t taste like coffee, they taste like sweet milk. This is not an attack on the business, simply sharing my opinion.

Coffee is really good! I go to tons of coffee shops and this is one of my favs. Flavored or Americano whatever choice you won’t be disappointed. Friendly staff and there’s a nice social space down the spiral stairs. Great place to take clients or just relax with friends and family.

Great location and one of the few coffee shops that sticks with the tradition of being a comfortable, friendly environment with great coffee. They've stayed away from the sterile, minimalist trend and maintain a relaxing spot where you can study, work, or socialize. I really encourage genuine coffee shop fans to support these businesses. To top it off, great location that's worth going out of your way!

Came in 20 minutes prior to closing and confirmed via the shop's Instagram that hours were still the same on Christmas Eve. Both the barista and cashier (Mary Cate) were very unfriendly - did not welcome us in or approach the counter right away when we wanted to order, slammed both drink downs on the counter, ignored our thank yous. Overall, very cold and disrespectful. I understand you're working prior to a holiday and don't want to be there but please treat humans with decency. This is not what supporting local should look like.

Closing on Sundays starting in November. Not a fan of this decision. I’ve been coming to this spot every Sunday for over a year.
Update: Thank you for the response. I can appreciate the importance of balancing work and family. As a customer, I am still disappointed. Every Sunday I don’t come to the Coffee Vault for just the coffee. I lead a men’s recovery group for veterans and first responders struggling with complex post traumatic stress. We held our Sunday morning meeting in your shop, and I have watched the lives of men transform in that space. Thank you for providing that space over the last few years. We will continue that important work, even if we have to sit in a Tim Hortons that is open on Sunday mornings.

The place is wonderful, staff are friendly, and the coffee is good. The only reason I gave 3 stars is due to cost. I've gone here for years and will recommend it, but it does cost more than the average. A hot chocolate, coffee, 2 muffins and a cookie will run you $32. But again, still a good place to go.

The café itself is absolutely charming—a wonderful concept in such a cute little town like Galena. The atmosphere is warm, with plenty of space to enjoy your coffee both indoors and outside.
I would have gladly given five stars, but during my first visit last week the staff came across as a bit disconnected and even somewhat unfriendly. A smile and a welcoming attitude go a long way in creating a positive customer experience, and unfortunately that was missing. With more attentive and genuinely friendly staff, this place would be an absolute standout.

I absolutely loved this little coffee shop. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, and it was the perfect place for a meeting. It's a neat layout where you can order and pickup on the first floor, but then there is a lower level with seating and a small patio outside.
My breakfast sandwich was sooo good, and I loved my coffee as well. I am not much of a tea or coffee person, so it was great to see they had many other fun drinks and specialties as well.
I can't wait to return.
