The place is wonderful, staff are friendly, and the coffee is good. The only reason I gave 3 stars is due to cost. I've gone here for years and will recommend it, but it does cost more than the average. A hot chocolate, coffee, 2 muffins and a cookie will run you $32. But again, still a good place to go.
The café itself is absolutely charming—a wonderful concept in such a cute little town like Galena. The atmosphere is warm, with plenty of space to enjoy your coffee both indoors and outside.
I would have gladly given five stars, but during my first visit last week the staff came across as a bit disconnected and even somewhat unfriendly. A smile and a welcoming attitude go a long way in creating a positive customer experience, and unfortunately that was missing....

I absolutely loved this little coffee shop. The atmosphere was incredibly cozy, and it was the perfect place for a meeting. It's a neat layout where you can order and pickup on the first floor, but then there is a lower level with seating and a small patio outside.
My breakfast sandwich was sooo good, and I loved my coffee as well. I am not much of a tea or coffee person, so it was great to see they had many other fun drinks and specialties as well.
