We stayed in the Boathouse. It was beautifully furnished and has a panoramic view of Lake Erie. You can hear the waves washing up on the beach with the windows closed, which is very soothing. The reason I only gave it three stars is because of the breakfast situation. This is very expensive accommodation that includes breakfast which is delivered to your room. However. To get breakfast you have to order it via text and you can't put in your order for the next morning until...
We booked a traditional room that was described as having a private bath, which we assumed included a bathtub. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find it was just a shower — no tub. This was especially frustrating because we had planned to purchase the Champagne and Bubbles package, which required a bathtub and therefore couldn’t be accommodated.

We had dinner at the Crosswinds Restaurant at the Lakehouse Inn yesterday, for our 50th Anniversary. Food was excellent and so was the service. Outdoors was beautifully landscaped and the view of the Lake Erie was phenomenal.
