This is a nice location, and almost the closest Gold Star Chili to me since I live North of Dayton and sadly the Huber Heights location closed. I prefer GS over Skyline personally, and it was a cool variety change-up when they added burgers. I wish there was a location further north, since I'm normally only fairly close when I go to the Dayton VA.
As far as drive through service goes there are the slowest ones in germantown I do not recommend this place if You are in a hurry
Just not enough chilli on the coneys, they are very dry
This is a good location. Everybody was really friendly
Everything is always good here! Try the banana cream pie shake! 😋
Typical Cincinnati chili dog, very comparable to skyline
The only thing that is good are the cheese burgers. Coney dogs are seriously lacking compared to skyline
The people are always nice and the food is great compared to Skyline..lol
I'd say about a 3.5 star for this visit but all around a solid 4 for previous visits. This visit was okay but service was not the best and chili was watered down. We got no refills and was out of drinks at the beginning of our meal. But in the waitresses defense, she was the only one waiting tables, ringing people out and cleaning the tables. I just feel like times like these are when someone (manager) should step in and give her a hand. I'm sure she feels overwhelmed especially when 8 different tables showed up while we were there. And not just in one area but spread across the restaurant.
Pecan chicken Salad and club was excellent

Tried for the first time, not bad!! If the sauce was a little thicker, definitely would've been better... Maybe I'm just spoiled and used to chili Mac aka 5 way from back home Toledo

The staff was very nice. The front doors, not so much. They constantly bang shut and you can hear it throughout the whole area, so no time to casually rest, while eating.
I wished I had asked how big the coney hotdogs were, when I ordered. For $2.89 each, I thought I was getting regular-sized hot dogs. They are not. They're the size of twinkies. I ended up finishing them within 5min and then heading to my car, to eat potato chips, because the food wasn't fulfilling.
Plus, the doors were giving me a headache. I have an ear issue and didn't expect the doors to be annoying, but did my best to be nice to the cashier, which I tipped. She was needed in multiple areas of the store, due to short staff. They're currently hiring, I don't know if only waitresses, though.
Overall, I spent $5.78 on 2 twinky-sized hotdogs, filled with fluff. Plus taxes to sit in and eat and a tip, totalling $7.45.
The hot dogs were delicious. They just don't give you enough to get full on those little guys. If you eat like a bird or love to eat heavy meals, this might be a good place, but you have to REALLY have the money to do so.
Docked 1 star due to front doors either need fixed or padding to take on the shock around the door frames and not much hotdogs to fill an adult up. Those coney would work for a kids menu though. Fill a kids stomach up just fine. ?
