Our son and daughter-in-law celebrated their wedding at Ole Zim's in 2021 and everything was perfect. We were lucky enough to attend another there wedding this past weekend and were blown away by the renovations and updates. It's just gorgeous! Everything about the Shed was wonderful; delicious food, excellent table service, friendly bartenders and professional staff. The new gazebo and outdoor venue area is really beautiful too. I highly recommend Ole Zim's for any event (AND their tasty Sunday dinners!) but weddings are where they really shine!

We recently had our wedding reception at Ole Zim's. They are so easy to work with, we even had a last minute change and they made it work! Very quick and clear communication. Went to a wedding here. The venue is beautiful they have remodeled since the last time we were there. The food was as good as I remember, we have been here many times in the past for weddings and raffles. My only complaint is that we were the last table served and no sooner then we returned to our table with our plates, the staff made an announcement for seconds, and the food was to be removed in about 1/2 hour. Before we were done eating our dinner, they were removing the food to put away. I think they could have waited a little longer before removing the food tables. Other then that it was a great experience.

We had our wedding/reception there last night. Staff was very friendly and helpful and hall was beautiful with decor already provided by venue itself. Food was absolutely amazing. Could not have picked a better place to have our family and friends helping us celebrate. Would highly recommend. Big shout out to the staff for everything they did yesterday behind the scenes.

We just had our wedding here at the end of July, and everything was absolutely perfect! The updates inside, and the beautiful addition of the gazebo outside, made our wedding day dreams come true! As always, the food was absolutely amazing! The staff were extremely kind and Erica was always available to help! We had our wedding this past weekend and everything was perfect! We had several compliments on the food & service. We did a buffet style set up and everything ran smooth. We ordered linens and table skirting from ole zims as well. Erica and Joe arrived the day before to set up our table skirting and were super quick and efficient. And if you’re debating between table skirting or not, DO IT! It’s worth it! You cannot beat the price point either. We added on plates, cutlery, and table skirts and still remained under budget.
We also did a taste test on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, our food options were out in minutes.
We did fried chicken, lasagna, roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, corn, noodles, hashbrown casserole (YOU HAVE TO GET THIS!), salad, and rolls. The food was delicious but you have to get the hashbrown casserole no matter what.
Communication was top tier! Any questions I had via email, text, or phone call were all answered within hours (sometimes even within minutes but they do run a full business and have their own lives so even hours was impressive!).
They have this process down to a science. They’re a well oiled machine. You will not be disappointed. And I cannot recommend Ole Zims enough for any catering event or a Sunday dinner!
