I LOVE GIANT EAGLE HOWEVER THE BAKERY HAS FALLEN OFF THEY NEED A REAL CAKE DECORATOR, ORDERED MY DAUGHTER A 16TH BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES ARRAIGNMENT TO LOOK LIKE THE NUMBER 16 THEY LITERALLY LINED UP SINGLE CUPCAKES INTO THE NUMBER NO PIPPING TO CONNECT THEM IT LOOKED LIKE A TOODLER JOB WE WERE VERY DISPOINTED AND THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME IN A ROW THEY POURLY DECORATED A BAKED GOOD THE FIRST ONE U WOULD OF THOUGHT A TOODLER WROTE ON THE CAKE AS WELL NO EXTRA NOTHING UGLY UGLY UGLY AND TASTED NASTY
We requested a 2-layer round cake and you can obviously see what we received - a single layer rectangular cake. It was supposed to be banana flavored with whipped vanilla frosting and while it was banana cake, it was definitely buttercream frosting. The cake decorating is of super poor quality as well. My family will no longer be purchasing cakes from this location.

Passing through traveling with the family staying at a nearby Hotel oh. So I would do some shopping from the bakery to spare our tummies from binging on local fast food restaurants that most likely are not going to be what we enjoy. Was very surprised how delicious the bakery food is here. This store is well kept very organized and I had a pleasant time stopping there.
Great birthday Cakes at good prices
The bakery dept is amazing I showed then a picture of a cake that I wanted made for my daughter's birthday and when I picked it up it looked better then the picture! Thanks alot. Pictures in the comments!!!!
Worst service in my life at the Customer Service center. Do NOT recommend this store. Not only were the two employees there untrained as to process a Western Union transaction, but they were rude as ****.
there's a young girl in the pharmacy her name is Jenna ,I have never came across a more miserable girl in my life. she's hateful, uncaring and could care less about people .It hasn't been once ,I cringed when I see her at the window ,I have talked to several friends that know exactly who iam talking about so it's just not me .
Purchased flowers from the floral dept and was charged twice. Returned to the store with my receipt which they kept and was told the front end manager was not working at that time and would correct their error. After numerous times of contact with customer service and management I never did receive my money back for the double charge on the bouquet of flowers.

I have shopped this store for more years then I care to say and have never had a problem. They are kind, helpful and friendly. The store is clean and before covid well stocked which is not thier fault now due to deliveries not coming in. Shop local folks and be kind.
I go to this giant eagle atleast once a week. My son is 2 months old and I have been buying his formula from there. The lady at customer service today that claims she has been ordering the formula there for 20 years argued with me that I have never got this formula from them and it doesn’t even come in powdered form. Then proceeded to follow me to the aisle to pretty much call me a liar. I’m pretty sure the wrong formula was ordered in and she didn’t want to admit her faults because the formula I have been getting should of never even been approved on my card. But to follow me and argue is just a bit ridiculous and uncalled for. I’m pretty sure I know what formula my child has been drinking. And now because of this mistake I have to find a different formula for my son that will work as well as this.
I have been in the Edinboro Giant Eagle and had the cashier refuse to accept my debit card, even after being told to by a manager.
I really appreciate curbside but my order was incorrect twice in a row with wrong items that I can't use instead of what I needed/ordered. Many items out of stock both times, especially when it's sale items (ie: coffee, beef). Too many substitutions with significantly more expensive items from a store that is expensive to begin with. Store too crowded with unmasked people to shop in person. update: my last two orders were much better but still many things out of stock.
