Finally a restaurant that understands how important the very first impression can be. By that I mean the table water that is served. Most restaurants don't understand how terrible their water offering is. Funky taste or overly chlorinated city water. Just a BIG Turn Off , and especially for customers that don't have city water in their homes. A simple and relatively inexpensive filter and de-chlorinator system fixes that issue and Margherita's Grille has figured that out. Their water offering is just what it should be ; pure and tasteless. A Great Big Thank You to the management for understanding and addressing this issue. Wish more restaurants would pay attention and fix their water. And yes, the service and food was excellent !! We will be returning to Margherita's Grille again very soon.

Went for dinner had the stuffed with crabmeat not taste, made me ill. Barb had the ribs. Most of her plate after was fat. I think the whole 1/2 rack was mostly fat and she hates the fat. Also the mashed potatoes were tasteless. I have been eating here forever and I was thoroughly disappointed

Lived here a long time and finally decided to try. Friendly knowledgeable server,(turned out to be the manager), varied menu, amazing food, huge portions, only negative is it was uncomfortably hot ( sat in the bar area. Front area was much cooler but was not being used). Will definitely be back. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

We’ve eaten here for many years. The food tonight was horrible. (Takeout) The sauce and meatballs had no flavor, no seasoning . They forgot the chicken on our alfredo and we had to go back and ask for it. I believe the pasta dinners come with bread but we didn’t get any.

This is Hands down the BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in Girard,Niles area. Food is terrific. The staff is courteous and very well mannered. Prices are excellent. I've lived here for 7 years never knowing of this place. Glad I went in with family. I came back with my wife a 2nd time 2 days later. We love this place it's a gem that we are so glad to eat in. The desserts here are nice portions and home made.
I advise everyone to try this Gem of a Restaurant at least once in the area. I had their lasagna 2 times. The wife had their Beer battered walleye she loved it and a much larger piece than other places.

The Eggplant Cake (not a dessert) is beyond amazing!!
For an appetizer we had greens and hot peppers and oil. The greens were excellent and the hot peppers were as well but needed salt in my opinion (that's a personal thing). I had the Fruit of the Sea for dinner and it was excellent and a very large portion! My wife had the Chicken parm and loved it as well. She commented that the chicken was cooked perfectly and was still juicy. The portion on hers was very generous as well! Their red sauce is very well balanced and tastes great (tried the wife's). Overall it was a great experience and we definitely plan on coming back again!
