So grateful for this place! It’s a gem of the south west side - and worth traveling to for brunch. The food is exceptional quality and taste and their menu is expansive. They use local coffee and locally sourced ingredients and it’s all delicious! Also super friendly for gluten free dietary needs!Would give it 6 ⭐️ ‘s if I could!

We’ve been coming here for over five years since they first open SERVICE has always been amazing. Food has always been great over the past year now the consistency of the quality of the food has not been as good as it used to be. Hate to say that because we adore this place and it’s people but something has definitely changed in the kitchen.

My granddaughter, my daughter-in-law, and my friend all are gluten intolerant. Check Please has a lot of gluten-free options to choose from. The best thing is ALL the food tastes really great. When it's gluten-free, that's hard to accomplish. Plus, the servers are personable, and the service is excellent. We all love dining here. We highly recommend it.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly. I love the build your own meal options. There's a big selection to choose from. Brunch is served all day. I enjoyed the sausage gravy, it's a little mild but a good compliment to the breakfast scramble. The cajun bacon was delicious. Great atmosphere! I love that they use white paper to cover the tables and provide colored pencils to draw on the paper. Charming and cozy. It's small and popular!Parking: It's a small parking lot but it's also a small diner.Kid-friendliness: You get to draw on the tables! Family fun for everyone!

She explained how the write-in menu was used, but suggested looking at the actual menu, & of course, pointed us to the specials! Our omelettes came and there was so much food! It was so delicious!! Hot...Hot delicious coffee, too! (There are specialty coffees you can order)I love the paper tablecloths! We played tic tac toe while waiting along with a few drawings :) Kids would LOVE it and easy clean up for the restaurant..win-win!Vicky filled up our coffee cup and when my husband asked her a question about "keto" she explained and then recommended the carrot cake...so kind.FOOD GREATGREAT STAFFATMOSPHERE GREATRESTAURANT, RESTROOMS, & PARKING LOT CLEANThe only negative would be sit in a booth/table away from the door in cold weather...but in their defense, I didn't wear a coat/dress warm today & the temps were dropping & it was raining outside...YOU GOTTA GO!!WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK

We had excellent Mississippi Pot Roast and mashed potatoes.
Classic cafe atmosphere with modernized menu choices. The quality of ingredients combined with attention to recipe details and the appealing assembly of each dish combines to give the picky diner a reason to come back as often as they can. We have tried most of the menu - from the classics like Steak and Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy through the Avocado Toast and Veggie Quninoa bowl. Sides like Cajun Bacon, Corned Beef Hash and Breakfast Breads are all prepared very meticulously with no detail left to chance. Prices are better than competitive and the hometown gathering spot atmosphere is spot on. Head out there soon. You won't be disappointed.
