Ray Ray's Hog Pit Granville

Everything was delicious. Smoked turkey, slaw and fruit cobbler was all fantastic. Guys behind me were raving about their wings, too, and they looked amazing. Great little find for an out-of-towner!

Amazing now that Granville Brewing Company is in here! Amazing staff, food and now our favorite local brewery is back at it!

What more can you ask for amazing smoked meat and fanominal craft beer. They do still have the regular American can beer also.

Let me tell you, customer satisfaction is outstanding. I experienced an unfortunate, but understandable mix up in my order. I brought it to their attention and they went above and beyond expectations to make sure I had the very best experience. I highly recommend everything on their menu, it will not disappoint. My family & I absolutely love eating here! It’s our favorite spot! The ladies are always so sweet & helpful. The food is ALWAYS delicious, if we could eat here everyday we would!!

Great staff, great product! Our party ordered several different menu items, absolutely no complaints. Even the youngsters cleaned their plates! You've got to try the cornbread fruit cobbler, it goes with everything!

The food was okay. I got the pork sandwich which said it came with sauce, but it did not. It was nice pork, but kind of dry without sauce. They expected you to add sauce from a bottle in a shelf with bottles of sauce. I refuse to use sauce that multiple people use in one day instead of them just placing it on my food. I'm sure that some people find my questioning of placing sauce out for general public won't bother some, like my husband, but for others, like me, that was disgusting! They said they would put the sauce on my food, but they did not! They wanted me to use a sauce from a general public use. Yuck! I didn't eat my food there. I waited until I got home and added my own sauce and that was good, but for the price, that was ridiculous! The Mac-n-cheese was horrible! I do not suggest that for anyone who loves Mac-n-cheese because I will eat just about any Mac-n-cheese! But not this one!!! It was horrible! I am not sure what the flavor profile was supposed to be because there was nothing but salt and fat! Do not buy it! The waffle fries though were amazing!!!! I hate potatoes of any kind, but I loved these! So, definitely get the waffle fries!

Got the cauliflower burnt ends and a Cheerwine. Service was great. Allison had a really friendly demeanor, and my food came out super quickly. Nothing to argue with here.

Brisket was fatty and seasoned after cooked. Lots of seasoning just lying on the meat. Same with the Mac and cheese (over seasoned.) presentation of food was poor. The best part of the meal was the waffle fries. The restaurant was quiet. No music or volume to the tv. The seating area was very warm and stuffy. People are excited that Ray Rays is coming to Johnstown. But after my experience in Granville today, I likely won’t be back.

I really wasn't sure what to order so I decided on a sample box called the Meat Sweats with greens and coleslaw for our family. It was a great way to try 'em all out.
