We were initially sat by the Maître d, then we had to wait for the server to attend to later arrivals. My wife had to approach them for refreshment service. While the food selection was good, the food was not. The ham was dry and hard on the edges, the Prime rib was flavorless' The salmon was good. Maybe, had we just gone with the breakfast offerings it would have been better but it was quite a lot of money for 5 adults who enjoyed very little.

Food on the buffet was cold, prime rib was so overcooked it was shoe leather. Shrimp was fabulous. Only one bartender so drinks took forever! Really need to work on service. For $65 it was a very disappointing experience.

I was excited to finally go to the Granville Inn, but it turned out to be a letdown. I wouldn't have known what kind of meat the lamb was if I hadn't ordered it myself. It also was not served as described on the menu.

Everything about The Granville Inn was perfect! Lovely service, delicious food and gorgeous ambiance! Absolutely cannot wait to dine and stay here the next time we drive through the Columbus area. Granville is a gorgeous town! Next time we are going to Granville as our destination, to be able to stay and dine for a few days! Thank you to every lovely staff member that made our night so enjoyable!

The facility is absolutely gorgeous and a historic staple of Granville, the combination of old and new but insuring to maintain the history of the property. The service was fantastic and the food was "good" and the menu is fairly limited. I got the steak Diane which had a delicious sauce and crispy fingerling potatoes. My steak over done but still very tender and overall good. My wife got the stuffed chicken breast which she said was very good and my daughter got kids butter pasta with fruit. We enjoyed some crème Brûlée That was a classic version and was FANTASTIC

Had an absolutely great experience! My only criticism was that our waitress rushed us and told us she was tired and couldn't go home until WE went home. Up until then, it was a great meal and wonderful atmosphere.

Wonderful evening and new menu had great options. Both my husband and I had fish. The bronzino was delicious and my husband like his salmon dish. Appetizers were good and well presented. Service from beginning to end was excellent. Planning to visit again

Service and food were outstanding. My only cause for falling short of a 5 star rating was I just happened to glance at the check, after paying, to discover I had been charged $3 for an ice cube. I'm not sure how I would have felt had I been made aware of this charge at the time of ordering but to find it after the bill seems a bit unreasonable.

Service and food are usually good, but tonight we were very disappointed. There were very few gluten-free options despite two people in our party having gluten allergies. It took an hour to get our food, and the chicken for the entree salad for one of us didn't come out until that person finished her salad. I asked twice for sugar for my coffee and never got it. We expect better from this restaurant. It might be a while before we return.

The food is good, but they need a more varied menu. Starters are more like a meal, and not like an "Appetizer" you can share. How about a cheese plate, or other type of Hors D'oeuvres that you can share. LOVED the bread option, and being able to remove the hot spice from the salmon and the rice. Would have preferred a different vegetable option over bokchoy. Our table was served lamb shank, Spanish meatball, scallops, and the salmon. All were excellent. We all agreed though we wished there were more veggie options with the meal. Two of us got the Fedora salad as well. It was very good. We all agreed as well, that the menu choices are not very appealing and there really wasn't much to choose from. For fish you can get 2 scallops as a starter or the spicy salmon and rice. Then there is steak, lamb, and the only chicken choice was chicken stuffed with cheese. No other chicken which is pretty popular at other restaurants. Really should have another healthier chicken choice. That's pretty much it. Love the atmosphere of the Inn, and the service was very good. Was just dissatisfied with the dinner menu being so limited.

We went to the Granville Inn for brunch in the Oak Room on Sunday. It was not at all crowded. It took close to an hour to get one order of Brussel sprouts to come out and even longer for our salads and omelettes. They also got our orders wrong and we had to send meals back to the kitchen. Our service was also very poor and the food is extremely average. You'd be so much better off looking at other restaurants around the area - don't waste your time here!

The Granville Inn is beautiful and such a neat venue. Sadly, our food was sub par and the food took no less then forever. The special ordered was awful and we sent it back. The kids food was better then the adult. Our waitress couldn't have been kinder, and we tipped her great because it was nothing she did. We actually felt bad for her because you could tell she was embarrassed at how bad the meal was and how long it took for the meal to come out. It is so sad that such a beautiful and historic place has a bad restaurant.

Reservation made through the inn and confirmed by Open Table was not in their system when we arrived. Luckily I had a paper copy of the reservation. Waited 25 minutes for our cocktails. Several items not what was described in the menu (do clams equal missing calamari in the cioppino?) Wait staff overwhelmed. Tables not cleared. Have had lunch here many times and have enjoyed it. Do no think we will be returning for dinner any time soon.

A new menu with wonderful choices. They have refurnished their Oak Room and the new furniture is refreshing. The service remains top quality. All in all it was a wonderful place to celebrate.

We have been so lucky over the last 3 years our granddaughter has been part of The Denison University SWIM TEAM, SO MY WIFE AND I HAVE TRAVELED FROM VA To Granville on four occassions. Each time we have eaten at this wonderful Granville Inn restaurant and get this all four times over 3 years we have enjoyed the food, atmosphere and by far the best waitress anyone could ask for."***KARA***" what a wonderful person. Our granddaughter is graduating this May and KARA via our request will be our waitress. Our last visit was for our granddaughters final swim meet. The next night we had the privilege of having all four roommates for dinner at the Granville Inn, and once again Kara made the dinner a perfect experience. THANK YOU kara and looking forward to coming back.CATHY & Ed Kelly , aka, Nana & Pop.
